    Since some people kept claiming that BBs have been constantly buffed, buffed and buffed some more (which isn't really a thing, but I digress) I spent a few hours going through all the patchnotes I had available to me - all since patch 0.5.2 - and collected all the buffs to BBs over this time - just so you wouldn't have to bother doing that yourselves.     Explain me this one, I really don't get it. Bow on? Haha, citadel hit and deleted Stern on? Haha, citadel hit and deleted Bottom tier? Higher tier cruisers fighting each other 2...3 km outside your firing range. Go closer? As soon as you open fire - closest target - instantly focused down - die within seconds Stay where you are? End the game with a beautiful message "no battle performance". Hey, at least you were never spotted so you survived! I could keep going on and on about this What the hell is the point to play cruisers right now? Why would you ever pick a class where no matter what you do you are always at the disadvantage against everyone? RN CLs are closest to any kind of exception for this - you at least can smoke up and have a better chance of engaging someone without getting shot. But it's just a "better chance". Still - the second you are spotted - you're basically dead. What's the point to play them?

    Well, just because your average potato has no clue why to click buttons "1" or "2" doesn't mean others don't. IJN have a pretty powerful HE round, pretty much on par or in some cases even straight up better than what RN gets. Of course, unless at tiers 7 & 8 there is some vitally important armour plate with thickness between 68 and 94 mm where KGV and Monarch would at least get the benefit of a little bit extra rather useless HE pen that they get.

    They didn't magically start, you could always do. Some 2-ish years ago I already noticed that BB AP is more than capable to deal with DDs if the situation arose. Just that noone paid attention to it, and crying about BBs wasn't the cool thing back then, I think either CVs or IJN DDs got the top spot. I mean, I have asked exactly this same question (and laughed about it) so much, including here, but you have to admit - game has changed. With things like radar and whatnot DD gameplay isn't exactly the easiest thing to pull off, and getting deleted by BB just bcuz his "meh just 1 overpen" is almost 10% of your HP

    I've thought something very similar. Almost like Karma somehow interacts with your match quality and RNG... That's kind of the biggest problem I have as far as some "live testing" goes - by playing just BBs with a taste of CV here and there doesn't net me much info on what CA/Ls and DDs get Should have seen my meltdown on Discord when I unlocked the NC, that shellspeed just doesn't make sense to me

    If you're looking for accuracy RN really isn't the line to go for IJN have flat arcs, quick shells, and small dispersion (at least the horizontal one) USN make up for those by having excellent sigma. With RN you won't get anything accurate up to Lion, and even then the accuracy is there just for the closest two thirds of your range.

    Fits perfectly if you add 2 full pens and 1 saturated pen. The usual missing ribbons or...? I'm pretty sure this happens to all classes, just that with BB low RoF it's a bit easier to spot.

    Tier 8 ships for ranked and random

    57 battles, 5 of them in PvP. Are you even high enough account level to play ranked? This isn't the last season ever, play some matches, learn how the game works. General rule of thumb is - don't buy premiums higher than your highest line ship of that type. By starting to play tier 8 with absolutely no background experience you'll just be a massive headache to your whole team inevitably leading to far more losses than you would get if you actually climbed your way up there.

    Atago gets 25mm plating, you'd need 358mm or higher gun caliber to overmatch it. But after that there's the 35mm citadel roof - can't be overmatched. Her citadel belt is 102mm - can't be overmatched either. She even gets 41mm deck armour which is more than RN and US BBs get. Then there is the question - which takes priority over the other - overmatch or autobounce? Should be overmatch, but since BBs somehow can bounce on DDs - not quite so sure. But she still is just a cruiser, she still gets deleted with the only mistake you made being the fact that you decided to play a cruiser. AFAIK Atagos already doing well, especially with her heal. But then again I haven't really played her in a while, so you should get other (actual crusier player) comments here aswell. Not quite, they don't like nerfing them. Buffing - no problem

    I do pay a lot of attention... as long as I'm not in the tick of battle where I have to pay attention who's where (especially DDs and torps), how I angle and against whom, who I'm going to shoot & when will I do it and so on. At that point I really appreciate having a divisionmate who can pay attention to that in my place Playing Support in League for a few years really taught me the minimap discipline

Just after that thread... yeah, tough chance you'll get something new They look at the positives, ignore negatives. Then they blow up an imaginary idea of some sorts based on what they looked at. Now they take their idea as fact and ignore everything else. They, of course, don't play the Conq themselves, and they have no interest in figuring out how to play against it. So the crying starts... Ahh, so now it has awesome AP? I though the RN sAP is one of the worst things about the line? I mean, While I said that the sAP is great, you all for the last 3...4 months were claiming that it's horrible, so how is it then? And lower HP (don't actually care) and no armour by tier 8+ BB standarts (actual problem of all 3 t8+ RN BBs) same as ships like Amagi and Kii 29.15% in 199 games... that's 58 wins. How is it even possible? Even AFK would score better at that point Hopefully after the CV rework with the hope that the UI will be actually usable

Once again tho - if you bothered to read through the post you'd know what armour I'm talking about ^ this ^ and this Rather obviously. Congratulations, you figured out why people who know what they are talking about are calling RN BB HE dmg "low impact" A lot of repeating myself here. Go and check those armour profiles, and the calculation example I give below. Surely you should be able to understand it, I've played with you enough to know you're not the common potato that can be met so often in these seas.     Last season, the season before that and the one before that aswell - hydro and radar have always shared the same icon. Generally it's just that you are aware of which one is it by the distance to the ship using it. Or the ship itself - by knowing if it even can have radar.

    Corrected your long nonsense to a TL;DR version They do. You see, we don't get all the statistics like what ship does how much dmg to what ship types. WG themselves do obviously. And then - just check pretty much any Conq replay. HE on a BB, HE on a BB and then some more HE on a BB, just burn them as much as you can. I see you just unlocked the Lion? Whenever you get the 419s it's pretty much the same Conq with 1 less turret (and 15 degrees per side worse 3rd turret angles) - same guns, amo, armour, very similar detection and mobility, just that you still have the benefit of a spotter. Unlike almost every single "nerf Conq" yeller you'll actually soon be able to speak with some experience behind you Good deal of those shells that deal dmg to Conq would have done nothing to other BBs bcuz of their armour, which is why Conq gets a better heal. Healing damage that wouldn't have been done on others gives you false sense of vastly improved survivability - it's just not there, really. Contradicting yourself there, as that's not how it works. Already explained that Anyhow, subject of Conq has been long since discussed (pun intended - you'll understand if you bother to keep reading) in a different thread, doubt there's much more you can add to the topic: And as far as your "totally adequate armour is concerned" pay good attention to this one And don't skip neither the pictures, not the text after them

    that already made me feel sorry for you if there is one ship you really don't want to see on your team this season - it's Monarch. Unless there is some at least semi-important armour zone that is between 68 and 94 mm thick - there is nothing Monarch does better than other BBs.
