I've just got the New Orleans, so I can sympathise ! It's stock and the range is very low so I can't get anywhere near BBs to even damage them. If I do close the range then I die really quickly. BBs became popular since the CV nerf at 0.4.1, It seems to me that classes are out of balance from T8 and above.

The OP is just embarrassing. I'm wondering if your username is indicative of your age ? If so you should know better, particularly since you have had exactly six PvP battles ! Where is the facepalm smiley when you need him ?

I had that problem, until I used the direct download, then it worked fine.

I would say that the level one skill, Situation Awareness is essential for all ships. The reason being is that it gives you prior warning that a DD is nearby, even though you cannot see it. This give you a much better chance of being ready for the inevitable torpedo attack. It's alway the first skill I go for.

+1 Daki. This morning I had high hopes that they would do something special, even if it was just some new content. I simply could not believe that this was it and the whine threads annoyed me. Now I just cannot understand why the game has been 'released' at all, or that it has been 'launched'. Basically this is an absolute PR disaster.

The problem is that many people were expecting something more on launch day, so when they get very little and an 'offer' like this is put in the shop, it is like adding insult to injury.

If you live in the UK, this is how it works out: The offer: 4 port slots and seven days premium = £7.17 Bought separately: 7 days premium = £3.85 (actually if you buy in game - it costs £3.65 at the below 'exchange rate') 4 Port Slots = 1,200 dubloons (2,500 dubloons = £7.30 @ 0.00292 per dubloon x 1,200 = £3.50) So total is £3.85 + £3.50 = £7.35 You save 17 pence on the shop price !!!! However, if you buy your premium in the game you lose 3 pence. This is a very silly 'offer' indeed

Because it's pretty ? Actually some people will just buy premiums because they like the look of them, or they are 'collectors'. My point was that new players should not go straight to T8 with no experience and expect to be able to grind credits.

Go to 'settings', 'controls' and select: 'Alternative battle interface mode', this shows more information by default. You can also press the alt key when in binoculars mode, i.e. fully zoomed in

You confused me, again, the skill is actually called 'Advanced Firing Training', the secondaries only skill is the level one skill.

Crikey, yes I agree Murmansk is a better credit grinder, so why did you buy the Atago first ? I'm obviously telling new players not to repeat your mistake. And you say I cannot comprehend !

I thought we were discussing the main guns ? Max range on Murmansk without spotter is 14.8km.

For you ! New players, don't buy T8 premiums to grind credits !!!!

This isn't WoT. The OP complaint was that he bought the Atago for credit grinding, I think that was mistaken and clearly you agree.
