Clearly a change to armour had unintended consequences. Yesterday in my New Mexico I had 17 hits on another New Mex in two salvos, the result was zero damage. This cannot possibly be correct, so I am hoping for a fix very soon.

One idea from a friend: to be able to buy a premium for a limited time for doubloons. For example have a Murmansk in your Port for a day for 300 doubloons ? A bit like premium time. -

This is not desync. It is a change to armour. I think what has happened is an unintended consequence of those changes. This will be investigated on Monday.

You definitely get lots of XP and credits for base capping. I've had battles today where I have capped a lot only done 5k damage with no kills and I've got 4.5k XP and 200k credits. -
Yep, 1 HE salvo from my New Orleans did 7.5k damage to an Izumo

Premium time ? I just bought this ship as having tested it, I knew it was fun. I just run out of premium and I was going to buy some anyway, so instead I'm using the dubloons that came with this ship.

I would be wary of thinking that results you get on a test server will be indicative of those on the live server. Very inexperienced players are at T10 on the test server, in addition people don't care about their results or the credit bill at the end of the battle. My understanding is that the flag is used by some extremist groups so is considered offensive by some people. However, it would be nice to be given the choice as the mod which gives you the correct WW2 flag looks wrong at the lower tiers. -

St Louis is the favourite of many. High HP and lots of guns make it an idea ship for new players

I think he said he was playing with friends at higher tiers, in which case he would. In any case a good DD captain will always switch their AA off to avoid detection.
