Oh it's scouser the guy who makes me cringe to be from the same Country. Just back from a forum ban perchance ? When your premium time runs out and you stop playing, any chance you can also stop posting worthless ill informed comments ? Best regards Hansz

Very bad lag in last 24 hours. Help needed from experts.
Hanszeehock replied to Antony1953's topic in General Discussion
I'm also with Virgin in the UK. I have had occasional terrible lag with ping going up to 1000. -
As I read it Noodle is correct. He didn't say that the ship was previously bundled

+1 - before this is closed, why did we need another thread when the OP could have posted on this one : http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/38554-warspite-on-sale-but-in-a-bundle/

Option to lock bow or aft oriented turrets at default positions.
Hanszeehock replied to YuriPRIME's topic in General Discussion
This was suggested many times in both Alpha and Beta. One of the first things I suggested on the forum was to allow separate grouping of rear and front turrets. The devs responded that they did not see any need for it. I disagree. Even on aesthetic grounds it would be nice to be able to sail your ship with the forward turrets facing forwards and the aft turrets facing aft. -
Not really. Took you 1,500 battles to notice.

Not a helpful or insightful comment. The MM was changed to match CVs. However, there is also an objective that players do not wait an excessive time for a battle. That went wrong this time. Hopefully reports like this will get that changed. But overall most people do not play T10 CVs so they can have a fun game.
-
Agree. This should not happen. Obviously the Division was waiting for a T10 CV to join the queue so they could get a battle. However, I think the MM should make them wait longer so they are evenly matched.

Want our money and run ? No you dont

You are entitled to your opinion. My point is that there are already several threads many pages long saying the same thing. -

Really ? Another bundles thread ? How many do we need ? -
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to defend the bundles policy, just trying to understand it purely from a business perspective. Nothing would please me more than if WG offered many more non bundled premiums. As someone pointed out there is a danger in the policy of saturating the market with doubloons and premium time. I realise people want choice and not just between buying and not buying.

I suppose they will have the sales figures for Warspite, both bundled and not. I would love to see the revenue figures, not just number of units sold.

Is this a cry for help ? Given the number of bundles you have purchased ? Just sayin'

I do not agree at all. If your strategy is not working and this is evidenced by falling sales you do something about it. That is not just about pricing but could be also about making other changes. Turnover, and net profit is what matters most though. I was advised to raise my prices in my bar. I said: but I will lose customers. However, it was shown to me that the customer loss has to be significant to offset the increase in revenue. What we do know is that despite MrFingers & Co and the campaign against bundles both here and elsewhere, nothing has changed. So unless WG are really stupid, it means they must be happy with their business model ?

Wargaming is a successful Company. The community is valuable, but my point is that you don't necessarily take notice of everything written on forums. That is not the way to be successful. But I can only draw on my personal life experiences, none of us actually has all the data to make a correct decision.

You know about market economics, don't you ? The price assigned to it, is the decision of the seller, who is influenced, in this case, by what people are prepared to pay. And that is dictated by what people have paid for something similar in the past. If you are a Company who needs to make money so pay you can pay your bills, why would you determine your prices based on a tiny number of people who complain they should be lower ? That is the way to business failure. I used to own a bar. Most people were happy to pay my price for a pint of beer. However, some said the price was too high. So what did I do ? (hint : didn't take less money to stop some people from moaning)

Here lies the problem with this forum. Same people talking to each other in a bubble. In the meantime WG sells 22k + Tirpitz bundles.

Of course I get it. But some people on here never say it. The only reason people can be upset, is they really want these ships, but they want them for a lower price. I want a 55" OLED 4K curved TV, but it's too expensive. So I'll be patient.

Actually I agree. The lack of content is a concern. But I'm not bothered about premiums. Most people want to seen more regular ships, like German BBs and the RN. When they come the player numbers will increase.

This thread is about the Warspite bundle. The stats have been done to death here : http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/38019-wake-up-wg-you-lost-50-of-players-in-5-months/page__fromsearch__1 However, I am personally sceptical that overpriced bundles could cause player numbers to decline. As all the usual people have said, they are not buying, which is their choice. Most of them have been around long enough to buy Warspite like I did when you could get it for doubloons only. So if you don't buy anything, you cannot feel ripped off.

The first chart is the Asia server. You are have to select EU in the drop down box. That shows 22K + at peak.
