Just keep trying pause then unpause, this seems to work for most people

Guys, a simple quick 'fix'. Pause the update then unpause it. After a number of tries this does seem to work.

There is a general problem with the update server. WG are investigating. See this : http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/42119-help/page__fromsearch__1 Basic solution is to pause the update then unpause. If you do this a number of times eventually it will start downloading.

Yep, that works too. It's almost like it's luck whether or not you get an update or not

Anyway - some news, WG are aware of this issue and are looking into it.

OK - its finally started downloading. It seems to me something like there is not enough capacity to enable everyone to update. If you keep opening and closing the client, eventually the update will start. Running as admin, or changing the settings is the same as starting again.

I've been at that point only to get stuck at the next stage

Tried that and everything else, still doesn't work

As nothing works, I tried a complete reinstall, same problem, no download. It seems if you mess around with the settings and keep restarting the client the download will start eventually. It did for me, but it was so slow I unclicked update seeding. Now it won't start again ! Very frustrating.

Well it seems it works for some as there are 2k people on line.

I think something is wrong WG side. I have managed to get the initial updates, but it is stuck on 'Updating localisation packages : receiving updates'. You would normally expect the bar to start filling up immediately. Have tried everything but still no joy. Will report this, and hopefully it will get fixed soon.

I expect when we do see a RN CV line the US built planes will be used as they are in the game already.

Of course, these lists do miss out some of the most successful FAA aircraft of WW2, namely, the Corsair, Avenger and Martlet (Wildcat).
