Very good summary. After several battles in the Moskva I agree with your conclusions. All the higher tier RU CAs have very weak armour and any BB can citadel them at the front and rear. I get fed up with all these posts from people who have not played these ships and assume they are OP. We had the same rubbish spouted about the Russian DDs before release. I'm just wondering how long it will take after release for all the RU CAs are useless threads to start.

We do not gain any advantage. We get no XP and no credits and the battles do not affect our stats. As Optimus says you get targeted all the time.

Supertesters have been given access to all the RUCAs to test on the live server. As LilJumpa has said we have been asked to test these ships in all modes including team battles. Once the the ships are released generally it's going to take people quite a long time to reach T8 where radar is first available unless they use a ton of free XP. In addition from my own experience of testing radar is not the game changer some people might think it is. It only lasts 20 seconds with a long reload time. If I was in a DD I would be more concerned about being spotted by planes.

Credit income has actually improved at higher tiers. It is difficult although not impossible to break even or make credits at high tiers without premium. I hate to say this but I checked your stats. Unfortunately you are not a very good player. Your average damage, hit ratio and WR are far too low in the Iowa. That is why you lose credits.

Happy to agree to differ. I think you are over exaggerating the effects of a few premium ships that may be better than their same tier counterparts. To call it P2W or cheating is plain silly. If this were really true the WR of these ships would be considerably higher. You can talk about non paying players enjoyment all you like, but without some people paying there would be no game at all.

I'm not sure I understand why you said this doesn't follow ? My point is that the general player population is not affected by the fact that some people consider certain premium ships to be OP compared to their peers. In this case cruisers have a counter balance, it's called battleships. MK and Atago do not affect T8 gameplay very much. People will still grind regular T8 cruisers because they want to get to T9/10. The argument as to whether or not premiums should be UP compared to their same tier counterparts is not overwhelming in my view. This game is not WoT and balance should be considered against all classes as well as the same class. From a commercial view an attractive product is going to sell better than an unattractive one. If the MK was utter crap would less people buy her ? Obviously yes. Will the fact that it's a good ship compared to its regular counterparts cause people to stop playing ? I think not.
