Don't you think a company has failed utterly if players can die their way up to the highest tier without having learnt ANYTHING about the game, the mechanics, the(ir) ships,...? Wouldn't you agree a Hindenburg with 20k average damage or a Conqueror with 456 games played in that ship, yet only 27.000 average damage is pathetic, and something went awfully wrong in what should have been a "learning curve/process" ? P.S.: skill/stats based mm when ?

Ich _hab_ den kompletten Chat de-aktiviert per Mod. Meiner Meinung nach ist es 99% Kindergarten und 1% nützliches, was da geschrieben wird. Und ich habe nicht das Gefühl, was zu verpassen. Insofern kann also auch das teamübergreifende Trollen ("gg ez") raus.

I disagree. The map is so small and all the action is so condensed, a good dps ship/player can outdamage a carrier IMO. Add a Flint/Atlanta, and enemy air should be neutralized.

Sweet. Thank you for adding this silently with a minor patch. While I re-download Aslain every 3 weeks for the major patches, I usually just move the mods for minor upgrades. I guess I am in for a break soon....

The reward will not the Tirpitz, but the British tier 7 bb Duke of York. If it goes anything like last year's Graf Spee, they will start selling the DOY on thursday and also unlock a temporary campaign that will last for about 3 weeks and does require the DOY to get started. Meanwhile there will be a second campaign where you can get the DOY for free as a final reward, but the different stages -while being easy to do- will be time gated, with a new part unlocked every couple of days. So if you go the freebie route, you will have about 7 days left to do the the special DOY campaign. As I said, that's if they stick to last year's plan (minus the sh**storm on EU, perhaps, this time).

PTR 1: 5 stars with randoms on 2nd try (good team) PTR 2: 5 stars with randoms on 1st try (mediocre team, 5 minute afk Gneisenau, lots of camping, killed all ships in the end) The Missouri kinda seems underwhelming, does she even shoot ? I mean I am not complaining, given that 1-2 salvos can take out a t7 bb, but still.... 2ndary Nagato ftw. :-)

The biggest joke is playing this map with an Atlanta. It's a stupid camper map in pretty much every mode, wth am I supposed to do with 13.3 km range ??? You can barely shoot the map center from behind cover, not to mention their camping positions. Good to know what you think of flamu, the most vocal advocat against this map. :D

They are looking for ST maybe once a year. In the German stream, they hinted maybe next spring again. Then again, being a ST is not "playing new ships before everyone else". It is damn work with pretty much no pay. They require you to do a certain amount of hours per week. Testing is more than just playing. Plus you have to write reports about the ships. And in the end, they will take all this and just ignore it, releasing ships despite everyone saying "no". For me, THAT would be the toughest part, being asked for my opinion and then being **** on.
