But you cripple your fire chance so much, 2% is literally nothing and most of the time your are stealth firing BBs instead of harassing cruisers. -
Wasnt the limitation 76 FPS? However, this is some limitation in the config files, but dont ask me which file it is.

Seeing that the best dmg for Khaba at warships.today is listed at 126k for EU, and I am at 129k dmg after 73 matches in the nerfed Khaba, I thought I knew the real way to play. Guess I rely too much on smoke. -

I mean, there are already ppl proclaiming the Udaloi being the better gun boat than the Khaba, which is at least partially true due to the Udaloi having more range and being able to dodge more easily than the Khaba. Seeing that the Udaloi has not changed, apart from the option to choose DFAA instead of speed boost and some insiginifact changes to the torpedos, ppl will just choose the T9 of the new "different" line as ultimate gunboat over the T10 of the old classic gunboat line. I have a feeling that WG will "mess" this split up again, just like the IJN split and those lines are not really tied to a different "theme" aka better gunboats in the supposed torpedo line and better torpedoboats in the supposed gunboat line. -

With enough enemy ships shooting at you 10km is dangerous enough, not talking about enemy DDs or stealthy cruisers trying to get your booty. Hit ratio of high tier ships is not better because of the players possessing more skill, but because of far better ballistics of high tier ships. Compare Moskva with Shchors, Hindenburg with Yorck or Zao with Myoko. -

Ehm, the Kiev stays in the "old" line leading to the Khabarovsk. Only the "new" split line consisting of Ognevoi, Udaloi and Gorozovoi recieve the DFAA. Also the repair team replaces the smoke generator, which is in the end a huge nerf, since you dont have a "emergency button" anymore to get out of deadly situations. If DDs would be less fragile the repair team could replace the smoke maybe, but atm not. Smoke was always the "key consumable" for DDs, not because of the offensive capabilites, but to get out of focus fire siutations that would kill you; a pity repair wont save your áss in a DD. -

RU DD stats leak from 0.6.1 ST, on various news websites. Links: Thedailybounce has just posted the dataminded stats from gamemodels3d.com. Kiev recieves a HP buff and the B-2-U turrets [previously only on Khaba/Udaloi], new soviet split line gets DFAA as consumable in the same slot as speed boost and the chinese site says that Kiev and Khabarovsk will get the smoke generator replaced with the repair team, while gamemodels3d still shows the smoke generator. Ognevoi recieves 10km torps and also the B-2-U turrets.

Shocking news, apparently Flamu has totally not clue what he is talking about. How can he dare to say that CVs have always been and still are the strongest ships to carry a match. I mean we all here know that CVs are weak as fúck and AA is clearly too strong, outright OP to be exact. I got triggered so hard when I saw his vid.

High-Explosive-Anti-Tank?! ohne IFHE: 130/6 = 21,7 mm mit IFHE: 130/6 * 1,3 =28,2 mm Mit 28mm kommt man durch die Bug und Heck aller T8-10 Kreuzer und bei allen T8-9 Kreuzern auch durchs Deck, einige T10 Kreuzer besitzen mehr als 28mm Deckpanzerung Mittschiffs. Lohnt sich IMO nicht wirklich.

I wouldnt call it essential, you still have to invest a lot of captain points and you lower your firepower against stuff that has more than 32mm deck armor/plating due to less fire chance. Please dont stop making yourself a fool by insulting other ppl and throwing a hissy fit. -

I dont know, maybe 32mm or less of deck armor which will then be penetrated by the 152mm guns with now 32,9mm penetration thanks to IFHE. AP doesnt matter against BBs and fire chance per shells is easily outweighed by higher RoF on 152/155mm guns. This skill will probably be the biggest source of bullshít advice for the next time. I have already seeing ppl calling it useless after testing it only with 203mm guns, or ppl calling it a must have for all 127mm guns. I really dont know what is so difficult about basic math. -
Morgen gibt es die neuen Kapitänsskills. 19 Punkte zur Verfügung, 7 davon sind schon fest mit PM/PT [wahrsch eher PM], LS und AFT belegt, bleiben 12 Punkte übrig die man nach seinem Gusto nutzen kann: 1. der alte 3x4 Build - BFT, DE, SE, SI/VI 2. oder man nimmt tatsächlich für 4 Punkte RPF bzw. nach der erneuten Umbenennung RL. Die Frage ist jedoch nun wie man die 8 verbleibenden Punkte sinvoll einsetzt. BFT und DE sind in meinen Augen eigentlich absolute Pflicht, dann besitzt man immer noch 2 Punkte. 3. neben AFT und RL wählt man zusätzlich CE. Klar hilft CE einem wenn man Caps einnehmen möchte oder den Feindkontakt abbrechen möchte. Dennoch geht man immernoch viel früher als alle anderen DDs auf, da auf ihnen CE Pflicht ist und man im besten Fall eine klassich geskillte Udaloi/Khaba eher sichtet, alles in allem immernoch eine Verschwendung von Punkten. Zumal man sich mit 4 verbleibenden Punkten sich zwischen DE und BFT entscheiden müsste. Ich tendiere ganz stark dazu bei der alten Skillung zu bleiben, da sich nur damit alle Punkte sinvoll einsetzen lassen ohne noch einen zweiten Skill in der 1er oder 2er Reiher nehmen zu müssen. Klar könnte man mit RPF nun gnadenlos gegnerische DDs jagen, aber das funktioniert sowieso nur im Endgame und weiterhin werden die gegnerischen DDs dich über 2km früher sehen und dementsprechend reagieren können. Gibt nicht besseres als mit 48 Knoten in 15x 76 Knoten schnellen F3 zu segeln, Shimas offen halten und jagen ist sehr sinvoll wenn er seine Torps noch hat.

What is supposed to be wrong about this? Looks pretty good to me, also it is obvious that no rating ever will be able to measure skill 100% accurate. The guy with 178 battles has far more WTR since he wins far more battles combined with higher survivability, the 59% WR guy may have more DPG but since he doesnt win nearly as often he is probably farming dmg without being useful. Although the database is very small, less than 200 matches means that variance still plays a big role for WR. On topic: I hope WG doesnt butcher the stats with their changes and simply creates new "IDs" for all RU DDs above T5 except for the Khaba ofc.

Post Khaba-range-nerf the Udaloi is the best DD to simply spam the enemy BBs with HE from 12km+ while dodging incoming fire, looks like WG doesnt like that too much. Although I am currently playing/testing the Khaba the Udaloi is probably my fav ship for molesting baBBies. I hope they dont change her too much. On the other hand I have 500k XP on the Udaloi I cant use atm, looks like I will get a new T10 DD without any effort.

When the enemy team has in total 563k HP and you alone do 355k damage, leaving 208k for the 11 clowns in your team, but you still lose the match because your team is full of weekend potatoes on a monday. [high caliber in the first 8min, double arsonist, .............., tons of other crap, enemy team lemmings A, got 3 times stopped 15s before I managed to cap A, rest of the team going full potatoe and ignoring the caps/enemy] -
I was tempted to ELI5 mirror MM and it´s effects for those ppl who still dont understand, but I dont feel like it anymore, theorycrafting about the new RU DDs is far more fun. All I will say is, if you cant comprehend the mirror MM and why comparing CV WR with other classes is rétarded, you shouldnt be allowed to discuss balance at all.

So the new DD brach that is supposed to play different from the old one, most likely better torpedos/concealment since the Udaloi/Khaba are the apex gun DDs, gets a T10 with more modern guns with even longer barrels and thus higher MV. Unless the soviets suddenly made a step back with their shell design and used less aerodynamic ones and therefore a higher drag value ingame, the Grozovoi´s guns will probably feature better ballistics than the Khaba guns. Edit: The big banner and the ingame screenshot below show the Grozovoi with 2 front turrets though, instead of one on your handkerchief/blueprint.
