I like many others have had this problem and I started to blame WOW2 Europe not being able to handle the traffic. However I have solved my problem and now enjoy excellent game play. Upon downloading the game I have established that by default the game sets up in XP compatibility. By going into the folder as properties at the bottom of the list of components you will see three marked with the game insignia. Properties again on these three set in my case Windows 7 re- set the compatibility to your operating system, obviously you have to save each time in each element. RE-start the game and sit back and enjoy.
