Moc často tu nepostuji, ale Graf si to zaslouží... Pokud nejste opravdu zapálení do CV tak si ho rozhodně nekupujte. Tady jsou screeny ze dvou nejlepších her co jsem měl, jedna s AP a druhá s HE bombami, obojí za použitá manual dropu. Předtím jsem strávil hoďku v training roomu a trénoval maunal AP dropy... Snažit se trefit cokoliv jiného než BB AP bombami je prakticky nemožné, za 6 sekund než dopadnou se toho může stát opravdu hodně. Pro ty co neví: Celkově.. Zklamání... A celková nedodělanost UI pro AP bomby... Člověk musí počítat sekundy aby měl jistotu, že opravdu spadly...

So I couldn't resist too.. 1st game is with AP bombs, 2nd with HE... Debatable results... I am still not sure... But.. I think that someone at WG EU did a massive screw up, since the Graf is not on sale in other regions, and released a ship that was not ready...

You are mixing apples and oranges. And since you are not willing to add anything else to the conversation other than insults, I can only pity you, for having to resort to that... @El2aZeR He has a faith, that CVs are OP. You can't defeat faith with arguments. Only another faith... The interresting thing is... If he thinks that CVs are so good.. Why does he not play them? Any suggestions? -

The fact that my cruisers are sitting around 60K? Yea they do, unfortunately for you they have absolutely nothing to do with CVs. Also calling everyone thick won't change the fact, that you are still suffering from delusions... CVs are OP? Play them. Master them. Show us your point backed by your "oh so glorious" results. Oh wait, you can't. Because you still have not played them. You have no idea of the challenges CVs face. To summarise you have no idea what you are talking about. -

I have bought it... I love how the ship looks. So far I have not played her yet, but man the TBs were so so so much better choice... Or give her the ability to choose HE/AP bombs in battle. And the 6 second delay sounds awful... One more note to the delay and this si something the devs via @Sub_Octavian should know too. The drops are inconsitent even normally, depending on the orientation of the planes, sometimes even TBs animation will decouple and the torps/bombs are dropped even though the planes are nowhere near the indicated area, which can add/subtract a second from the time the drop "locks" and is actually executed. Coupled with the (quite honestly ridiculous, the Stukas were excellent DBs) delay of 6 seconds gives a mess. And a bad one, just look at the amount of topics about the Zeppy... All of them unhappy...

I am not saying that the USN CVs should not be recieving some love, but nerfing the fighters actually might help the indy and ranger... Plus the Haku gets that treatment on ALL her planes... -

Japanese Aircraft Carrier All Japanese fighter squadrons' (including the one on Kaga) wipe-out penalty on servicing time increased from ×2.5 to ×3. In addition, this nerf ALSO applies to Hyakuryu's Tier X torpedo bomber and dive bomber squadrons. British Battleship σ on Conqueror's 419 mm guns decreased from 2.0 to 1.8. Fixed the auto bounce angle of AP shells on certain British battleships. (Queen Elizabeth, Nelson, 419mm-gun Lion and Conqueror retained their legacy 60°/67.5° auto bounce angle by mistake and therefore they looked more powerful than they should be.) Thank you for the explanation! Only thing I am missing is the speed of dropped bombs...Also is it possible to provide such info abut bombs ingame? I have heard rumours that the Graf Zeppelins AP bombs are dropped under an angle - it would make sense then to wait for a ship to turn (and therefore list) and then to drop on her... But otherwise thank you for the clarification! :)

The most fundamental question is why to switch to AP bombs and how does the armor work? Other than the reduced drop pattern (in case of the Big E) they provide one thing only - a shock and awe effect of instant damage. I can do better or same damage with HE bombs+ time and the HE bombs are not completely useless against other classes (also getting overpens on a BBs with AP bombs really sucks). How is the penetration/explosion calculated - is the penetration reduced by superstructure (and its armor) or is olny the deck armor counted? One minor gripe with the drop pattern too it really incites the use of autodrop (Big E again) why is that?

Recently I noticed that all the planes in a given squadron simply spawn all at once and do not take off one after another like they used to. Was this changed globally or am I simply running the game with too low settings?

Title says it all - the last line in game that doesn't have a premium - why? French cruisers have one, royal BBs will have at least two by the time they are released, why are the german DDs left out?

That I have seen - I have probably missrepresented my question, I'll try to elaborate: let us assume that I am attacking a BB and my bomb hits the roof of the superstructure - now assuming it's flat (by the way can AP bombs ricoshet? If so how is their caliber calculated?). What happens next? The roof itself has not enough armor (lets say 15 mm) to arm the fuse, so the bomb continues through more layers of the ship with its arming distance reduced(if we use the 15 mm roof let's say it needs now 55 mm more armor to arm? So next we have the armored deck lets say it's 56 mm thick so the bomb arms and continues in deeper into the ship. Now comes the confusing part - let's say that there are 2 meters of space between the armored deck and citadel roof - how is it calculated if the bomb explodes above the cit or in it? With shells it's easy we know the fuse delay and shell velocity, however with bombs we don't. So in our case lets assume that the citadel roof is 20 mm so we have enough penetration to go through. and lastly we have the bottom of the ship (and getting the armor viewer to show the bottom thickness is a real pain). Here we too have some space inside the citadel and I'm assuming that the bomb can explode inside in two possible situations - either it doesn't have enough penetration to go through the bottom or it's delayed fuse runs out, am I right? I am still not sure if I am explaining this clear enough... Hmm... Let's say we have an armor plate that is 71 mm thick the bomb will arm and when will it detonate? If it either - reaches its full penetration value of 184 mm (for instance if the plate way 300mm thick, will it explode in the middle of it? - by the wayare the 70 mm of arming included in the 184?) or when the delay for the fuse runs out? If so what is the delay and at what speed does the bomb move? Also flooding caused by AP bombs going straight through the ship, would be nice :D Although I know why it's not in game... Sorry this turned into much more technical question than I anticipated, but so far the AP bombs are... Well not underwhelming but too strange to grasp... It seems like they don't do much, but then you look at damage total and there is 120K there...

So I had an idea, and I think it turned out pretty neat, what do you think? If anyone has higher resolution ribbons than those that are ingame I'd love to have them to improve on this, you can see that there are some flaws, but I know how to get rid of them, however having higher restolution base images would help.
