Am I just blind or have they stopped people ranks from showing. On the score board at the end of battles? If so why have they done this? I want to flaunt my struggle through potato fields to everyone haha. also why did they change the aesthetics of the ranks to make them look crap. literally noone asked for that.

is/was there a particular reason to change it to not showing outside of ranked battles? if not then why do it. WG seem to love making pointless changes for no reason that noone asked for.

yes but it used to be displayed beside people names as well. no good reason to change that

So you're saying if everyone is blobed up all game it's completely fine for a cv to be able to do literally 0 damage that entire game. Yeh nice try mate.

So plane heal is now completely useless. Its almost like WG don't bother to think through changes that they are making and just go in with a 'that'll do' mentality.

oh god i give up with the people here, they have no clue what they are talking about have fun arguing about CVs im out as i have no need to or desire to whine about anything :)

yes you can still still hit them but not for a perfect attack. notice i said "mitigate" the damage. people seem to just want to be able to completely stop all damage CVs do to them and thats not going to happen. you can mitigate their damage if you happen to have got out of position until you get back into a better position back with your team mates. its always been the case of if you go alone in a CV match it is a mistake and you will die.

meh people just dont like to hear the truth. they just like to go with the crowd and cry about things that kill them.

i come across as a muppet because im able to deal with CVs when other people cant? sorry mate but not my problem that you cant adapt to the current meta.

funny that ive never been slingshotted or really bothered much by CVs when i play surface ships. its almost like i know where to position to discourage them from attacking me. i mean i see people whining about CVs and then i see the same people just sitting still at islands alone or DDs that try to hunt CVs or people not even trying to dodge attack i.e turn side on to bombs, turn into torp drops, DDs turning their AA off for rocket attacks and speed towards the planes to make them shoot past them in the attack run. its not hard to mitigate CVs.

You can't remove it. If you just take it away then you'll be taming damage on planes that you can't even control which will fly into flak in the 3 or 4 seconds yoi lose control of them and all get blapped. So sorry but its here to stay :)

Just thought ide at least try to educate some people on how to successfuly work with your cv and play against the enemy cv in ranked. -At the start of the same obviously cvs will get early spots on cruisers to to all BB players please have your gun facing towards where your cvs planes are going so that you can try to blap any cruisers spotted by him (especially minos and Worcesters as this will increase your cvs effectiveness massively if you kill them) -try to stay with at least 1 other ship within 4 Km of you (2 others is preferable but 1 will do) as this will greatly discourage or in some cases even negate the enemy cv from striking you. -if you are a DD player, going for caps at the start of a game in a cv game is a very bad idea. Caps are not that important early game as most dds that try to go and solo cap without waiting for their team die very fast. So for the first 3 or 4 minutes just sail along with friendly cruises providing smoke if needed to light cruisers and spamming torps where you think the enemy dd might be trying to cap. -do not spam 'provide anti-air suport' button. I cannot stress this point enough. It is just annoying to your friendly CV player and will usually make him less likely to put fighters over you. Just let the cv player deal with priorities and if he thinks you need a fighter and he is in a position to do so he will give you a fighter. But do not treat cv players as your personal slaves. -if you are in a cruiser against a haku do not sit still on an island as that will make it easy for him to AP bomb you to death (especially des moines and stalingrads) instead try to be more mobile and able to turn side on to the bombers to mitigate damage. Other than those points I ha e mentioned just try to work with your friendly cv player and communicate with him but don't harras him for support. Asking him to spot something that you are able to kill is fine but don't keep spamming buttons for him to protect you or flame him in chat if you die and it's somehow all his fault.

I play most of my games in tier 10 and have over 2.8 billion credits so you must be doigg something wrong. Anyway if you are losij g credits in ranked in rentals you deserve it for bringing rentals when you shouldn't even be in ranked as you don't have a tier 10.
