Why does no-one read anything....

i dont really get why people are whining now. they stopped NTC giving in game buffs and now its just a way to get ships and other things. if you can free xp them or want to grind them then you can and if not then you cant. simple as that whats the problem?

Well the rework has already called for a hotfix after just a few days of release and the issues that come with the rework will be hard to fix without completely neutering the CVs themselves and the damage they can do. With this new system of AA it's either the planes get 1 shot or nothing dies at all which was not a problem in RTS CVs where every ship is constantly doing damage to planes and ships could be covered by AA bubbles which CV players had to play around. Now any CV player can throw planes at the enemy and do a fair amount of damage. If they change AA to be more powerful then I can see it flipping over to planes not being able to get through AA as the meta has changed to every e bobbing up due to the number of CVs in game which again was not a massive problem in RTS. The rework rewards bad players more than it should. I'm not saying good players arnt rewarded more but with RTS good play was rewarded far more than bad play for both surface ships and CVs. I know they wanted to reduce the skill gap but honestly why? Should worse players be rewarded more for doing less? No of course not. I know it's too big to fair now but I'm wondering how ma u of you would rather go back to RTS CVs now you see what impact the rework has.

If words that that bother you that much then I'm sorry to say you probably shouldn't be in the Internet. You can't have a protective bubble around you everywhere you go. Too many snowflakes around these days.

CVs now definitely do not have a high skill floor. RTS CVs had a high skill floor. These are just dull shadows of RTS. The skill is already cut in half by removing CV Vs CV combat with fighters then reduced more by removing full Hull control. You only need to concentrate on which targets you can going to bomb and then dodge a bit of flak when attacking. It's much more boring and less rewarding than RTS due to the lower skill level needed. You have to just hope the enemy doesn't clump up and lock you out untill the end of the game. I know that was the case in RTS but at least you could deny the enemy cv strikes if that happened. Now you can do bugger all. So please don't try to say that reworked cvs have a high skill floor and most certainly not a high skill ceiling.

@The_EURL_Guy why delaying them over 3 patches this time? even delaying a line over 2 was a bit of a stretch but over 3 patches is kinda pointless.

As long as they are shooting and kiting away then that fine because there's still a chance to get damage from them. But if the enemy has all the caps and a person runs away not even showing himself that's just pointless and boring. They have no chance to win and arnt contributing anything to the enemies damage or theirs.

Don't encourage players to disable chat. That will just make it easier for them to ignore people screaming at them not to yolo or do some other stupid crap when they say they 'don't care and are just having a bit of fun' if they want to do that without hastle then go to Co op.

Except that wont happen because He is literally the entire point of the line. Well except for monarch. They are very easy to deal with now and will be even easier to deal with after the citadel nerf. I know its the nature of people to hate HE spam but seriously if you are having consistent problem with conqs etc you need to position better and well... just kill them faster.
