I started playing The independence, the problem i see playing CV at Tier 6 your planes die before reaching an enemy ships. AA on Clievland and Pensacola is too strong so it destroy all planes in giant cirlce around these cruisers. The second problem is scout planes on battleships and cruisers, if they reach your bombers, they prevent the proper torpedo and bomb drops. The only thing you can do is to hope finding a lone tier 5 or 4 battle ship somewhere far from others enemy ships.

I know the name of the problem it is clieveland air defense. This cruiser is much better to change to tier 8, cause any carrier level 6 cannot do anything against clieveland aa. Japanese cruisers tier 6-7 are sinkable on independence with some effort, sinking pensacola is even easier even it is 1 tier higher than clievland.
