Ranked battles for me start at Tier 5 & 6 and the furious taco is 5. Also Atago & Takao ???? are not in my tech tree. The previous cruisers on my tech tree are completely different in playstyle and handling. Yes I have it fully upgraded. This is my loadout and skills. Thanks thats helpful

I 'am really struggling with this ship. I don't seem to have any impact on the game a even if I stay alive long enough. I 'am no ace player but I seem to be totally useless in this ship. It's fun enough to play but I 'am just potato in it. Is there something I 'am missing ? any tips etc. I realise it not the same play style as the lower tier Jap cruisers but I just cannot sus its style out. Should I just blow past it or are the Jap cruisers all the same from this point ? I would like to get this sorted so I can have a go at ranked battles but not how I play it now. Cheers Me Hearties !

Hi Guys & Gals Brand spankers into the game so a proper newbie noob. I have played about 80 or 90 games total and I'am really enjoying it so far. I noticed what seems like some players using an exploit. At first I thought it was just players tunnel visioning but its clearly not that. They seem to drive diagonally into the blue map line and then crab along it. It seem very difficult to get hits on the vessel when they do this. Its usually followed by rage in chat and a report. What is this all about and is there anyway I can counter someone using this ? Is there somewhere I can actually see a video on how to play carriers ? I would like to see it from the carrier players perspective before I go charging into a game and make a complete potato of myself (I still remember red faced playing TD mode in my Bison for the first three matches in bewilderment like a complete tool) Also I have seen several acronyms banded about. Could someone please expand on them for me please ? CVs, CAs, DDs, BBs I'am guessing destroyer, cruiser, battleships etc ? My first impression of what I can can work out is destroyers spot and harass with the occasional devastating torp attack (T49derpesque) Cruisers harass/protect battleships (medium wolf packs) and battleships are the heavies to counter other heavies. I presume Carriers replace arty but are not as broken and rage inducing. Plus they seem easy to counter. Is this roughly correct ? What makes a Tenryu a cruiser and not a destroyer ? It seems to have all the same traits. Also what other non destroyer ships further up the tiers have torps ? I had nasty shock the first time I tackled a Tenryu point blank in my St.Louis The Tenryu was laughing his [edited]off. Cheers! Barnes (landlubber yarr)

New in from WOT and been playing for two weeks up to now. I 'am loving the game and TBH I 'am finding the community actually very friendly. I have only seen two instances of serious rage in chat (generally deserved tbh) Compared to a normal week in WOT or other online games this community seems generally very good. I hope it stays like this.
