The only stats you will be "left behind" in will be such things as battles played and tiers reached, that's like someone complaining they have just started playing WOT and it's unfair that others have tier 10's.... Your own stats are not really affected by others. You even have the option of playing in divisions with your friends thus giving you an edge against solo newbies. I didn't expect the period of grace given to testers but it would seem that there is some reasoning behind it. 1) The experienced players are out of the low tiers giving new starters a more even playing field. 2) 4.0 had a relatively short period of testing so there is a possibility of some sort of wipe still, can you imagine the whining if that happened during OBT?

12 battles 58% wins and 1k and change average XP. At tier 3 in both cruiser lines, running into lots of Ark beta's so trying to use the superior speed of the US tier 3 cruiser to bait them......... oh wait. Keep running into one special little snowflake who spends the entire game ranting in chat about how bad "his" teams are, although I don't understand how Mormons can affect his own play so much.

Had the same thing, we had 2 left to their one (both ships and caps) and the timer ran out at something like 950 to us. Win. Don't know if there are conditions for winning in these circumstances. -

At the moment most of the testers are getting the low tiers out of the way, canny move on WG's part as it means the newbies will be playing against those with a similar level of game experience (mostly). -

There are no PLANNED wipes after this, unless something monumentally fudges up the game. And if you think you had to grind remember the economy in CBT was set up to make moving up the trees quicker................

I have the gold and the Ark, no premium yet. Probably takes a while to catch up like it did on the 4.0 test.

Same client, just open the launcher and it will patch ready for server restart.

You will need both an account and an install of the NA client, make sure that you install to a different folder e.g WoWsEU and WoWsNA . I don't know if non testers can dl the client yet but you can have an account ready by registering through the NA world of tanks portal.

I remember seeing something about a region switcher on the NA WOT forum, however I just install them to different folders and rename the shortcuts so I know which region I'm opening. The major problem with using a region switcher would be WG don't patch each region at the same time.
