    Concealment Expert overrated?

This was funny, I played Wyoming and you aint disappearing anywhere in her. Sold that afwul ship. EVERYTHING was ultraslow, good guns though.

Ok, some good pointers. I would appreciate if you posted a good build. You have more battles than me.

    Concealment Expert overrated?

With so many DDs in battle these last weeks you are basically permaspotted. You cant outrun and hide from anything in BBs and most cruisers. And the biggest thing is when firing you are atleast a point on minimap.

Ok, only played her a while. Very few BBs tried to shoot me, maybe im positioned strange and playing very defensive (compared to Emile) Yes DDs has done the strangest things trying to get me. Yes. Concealment expert I consider useless 4 points in Fiji.

Ok, look at this bad-boy setup. http://shipcomrade.com/captcalc/1100000011001001000011010000000019 I know, Concealment expert, well Fiji has smoke.

I totally sucked in Gneisenau, in Bismarck Im doin fine. Only big difference is concealment, Bismarck has better secondaries but Gneisenau had torps. Both are fast and needs to be close to enemy still I got targeted much more often in Gneisenau.

Fiji is strangely enough safe from BBs. They dont think she can harm them, they dont bother turning their turrets if you flank and they wont fire into smoke.

This I want to debate, How many secs do you gain with 5% HP, very very little. Sorry, I meant salvos from DDs and some lower tier cruiser.

That is true. I follow Notzer and Flamu, they usually know what they are talking about. I tried the Help-mod from Aslains pack and boy was that useless.

Lets analyze Fiji. She is a support ship, flanking as in creating crossfire. Occasionally she can hunt down DDs. Sitting in smoke is what she does best. She will be furiously hunted by DDs and airplanes. So, staying alive as long as possibly and capable of fast retreat. Right?

Sorry, I confused Survivability expert with Adrenaline rush. Still another 2450 HP could have you survive a salvo or two. Dont worry, I came here for advices and I appreciate the point of views. By debating we come to conclusions and maybe some new approaches. I have to admit that Gneisenau could use the Concealment expert as she is always first to be spotted and then she has 8 ships targeting her.

Thank you for respond. Survivability expert does seem stupid on anything but BBs. Especially fast-firing ships as we gain about a second or two 1 hit away from destruction. Concealment expert is the single most overrated skill ever. DDs must have it but every other ship its 4 points wasted. In Fijis case you gain 1,3 km. Fijis concealment is already good and cruisers are usually spotted by DDs first. Every time you fire the concealment is out the window. Wouldnt BFT be better than AFT?

Ramming has to be looked in to.

Here is the scenario, I do appreciate feedback. 20171201_235300_PGSB108-Bismarck_20_NE_two_brothers.wowsreplay

Ramming has to be looked in to.

That is actually weird. Take the Amagi case, I was alone right flank behind island. I saw a mile away that Amagi was set on ramming. Problem is that I stood still and hit reverse. Not easy to maneuver when you do 5 knots reverse. Amagi hit me spot on bow, I mean tip to tip. Well we both destructed, he had about 5% left, me over 40%. So i was reversing and Amagi probably full speed, still he made about 30,000 HP destruction. ( In case you wonder, I didnt wanna go forward his 2 angry friends was waiting other side of island) Bismarck is a bit problematic since secondaries are blind strait ahead.

Maan, if someone is set on ramming you they will (because angle doesnt matter). Had again a couple of rammings lately. They really love ramming my Bismarck, even an Amagi and a Missouri.

You are right here. This is from WG: "Ramming damage is devastating even at low speeds. It should be avoided if the player's ship is still in good condition;"

Ramming has to be looked in to.

Im only asking for angle of impact. Bumping and gracing should not lead to total destruction.

Ramming has to be looked in to.

"If you want it done well you should do it yourself." Im only suggesting improvements to a flawed (embarrassing) mechanic. Added: Oh, and lets not get into ramming islands = total destruction?

    Okay, simplified but not ignored.
  22. Grandorf

Ramming has to be looked in to.

Yeah I know. Just that they are cherrypicking. "Lets do shell impact hyper realistic but make ramming act like grenades."

As the mechanics are now in WoWs both these ships would be destroyed:

Ramming has to be looked in to.

I totally agree now that HP has nothing to do with mass. Still, as I mentioned, gracing and bumping each other should not release full damage like a torp.

Ramming has to be looked in to.

Thats the strange part. Angle of impact matter in shell but NOT in ramming.
