    Aiming MOD Exposed!

More games with the mod. It truly should be either removed or made available for everyone. One of the biggest unfair benefits is that you can shoot ships that are coming behind islands before the have line of sight on you. This is big since you have your first and accurate volley out before they can see you. Battleships get the biggest benefit from this, followed by cruisers. But in all honestly this mod does not break the game, it just needs to be available. Fast cruisers and destroyers can easyly avoid fire from Battleships and in shorter ranges it does not matter if you have the aim mod or not since you are most likely to hit anyways. The mod changes the gameplay so that you concentrate more on positioning and tactics rather than aiming. I think that ppl are makeing much bigger issue of this than it is. Lead indicators are common in many flight games and even in some shooters. This mod does not make you hit 100% of your shots, at long ranges you are still heavily affected by RNG and as more and more ppl learn to zigzag to avoid incoming fire, the effects are even smaller.

    Aiming MOD Exposed!

Tested the mod out today on Fuso and it might be not game changeing but it does improve aiming by "unfair" ammount compared to not using it. What should maybe done is to either remove the possibility to have such a mod entirely or make it available to every one. I do understand why to use, for example in battleships getting your hits from the first volley can decide win or lose of the match. For new players it is also very tempting to use such a tool to improve their game. What I would like to see is a bit changed targetting tool that would be availble by default. Simply to put a tool that would show the shell travel time and horizontal distance as from aiming spot to target addition to the normal sight. Something like that would make the benefit from "questionable" mods such as the Aim prediction mod less tempting, be something for those who are less skilled and still be challenging for more experienced players. Althought as more crosshair and other mods appear it might be that the aim mod becomes obsolite even if it would stay in the game. And guys (and girls) this is beta game, try to keep your calm...
