I can foresee getting the stars in operations will be hard work, especially on the PTS. still I am very willing to bet there will be a few people who won’t read the reward of a 21 point Captain is for the PTS server and not the live server. It will be interesting to see how quickly some people complain.

I admit I was expecting the Russian bias would be strong with their CV line purely so at least we could parody the old Carlsberg beer advert: “WW2 Russia didn’t build CVs but if they did they they would probably be the best CVs in the world”

I think I will have to give the Sims a chance in random battles again to be fair I can’t think of anything wrong with her. The Hood is still a favourite of mine, but I completely agree the CV rework has really done a number on her AA and being such a long ship only very incompetent CV players struggle against you ( thankfully there are no shortage of them). The gun change did seem unnecessary but I still find them consistent in a standard battleship kind of way, I guess I just love her speed let’s me get around as I want to hopefully get on someone’s unsuspecting flank.

It helps that this line is the least interesting line thus far for in the history of this game but I just clicked on the first option to see what tokens I can get. Still usually in these events especially if you watch WOWS twitch stream you usually get all the free tokens.

Trust me we have all tried to explain and reason with him, but it’s futile because it’s impossible to have a sensible discussion with a Removed* such as him.

Submarines without a shadow of a doubt, although there others that annoy me they are no where near as bad.

As has been said WG plan to add one or maybe two maps next year and as we all know WG’s statements are caste iron guarantees like no guns bigger than Yamato, no submarines etc. I do hope we get new maps next year but I will believe it when I see it.

He will be purged soon, WG doesn’t like the peasantry challenging the almighty spreadsheet.

Sea mines were certainly a big part of warfare in the period WOWS is set and although they would probably have a negative effect on the game (discouraging pushing etc) when has that ever stopped WG. Probably not soon but with these guys I certainly wouldn’t rule it out. Maybe submarine deployed magnetic mines will be a new premium option.

WG have said they were too busy forcing submarines and the underwater environment on us to bother creating new maps, in their latest semi apology they have said we should get 1 new map next year maybe 2 ( don’t get your hopes up it’s WG we will be lucky to get the one new map). I guess the the last time we saw new maps outside of special events was in 2019.

Now I understand why there are always people on WOWS Facebook posts complaining that CVs are “unplayable”.

They were probably found to be too much fun and likeable, therefore being deemed contrary to the new more unfriendly capitalism model WG are following.

I would be happier if there were more open maps but then I love playing on Ocean, sadly though it appears as though a lot of players disagree with me on the issue of the Ocean map.

It’s honestly sad that because of the awful submarine project I’m just not that bothered with the other content it’s a shame as some of it actually does seem pretty fun or at least pleasant.
