I’m certainly going to give it a good try I enjoyed it on the PTS, if nothing else it tended to reward more aggressive play so for that alone I’m happy.

Ranked battles have always been a bit of an acquired taste but even my clan mates who love ranked are saying this is the worst one yet and it’s entirely due to the presence of submarines. It’s why your getting such obvious steamrolls.

It will be interesting to see what route WG do go down, looking at the Huanghe precedent they will probably keep the rough gun ballistics but I never put it past WG to do their own thing. Your almost certainly right they will give the Dido 5.25” because although the class actually got all kinds of calibre due to wartime shortages thankfully WG isn’t constrained by such shortages. I will be curious to see what torps they get whether it’s deep water or standard.

Not a big issue but it is weird that the Halloween ships are appearing with the normal names such as Tirpitz or Mogomi. I found Super hard impossible to win on, I know gameplay on PTS is of a lower quality than on the live server but I seriously doubt many people could cope with super hard, I’m not against it per say but the only way I could see people winning in it is if they were using voice coms and properly coordinated. Twilight hunt was fine not really my cup of tea but no issues.

The one problem with testing asymmetric battles was often the higher tier team was too bot heavy so that did make it harder to test because of course it’s rather easy to overwhelm bots. However when the higher team was all human or at most one bot then it was a lot of fun and reasonably even chances of winning. I enjoyed playing asymmetric and i think the choices of tier 8 and 10 make sense both sides have radar but the raw firepower available to tier 10 ships make them very viable even when heavily outnumbered.

The changes to fire and flood times are to say the least unhelpful, please return the countdown in seconds it is a lot more helpful. I also really dont like that pressing H now covers the whole screen it is a lot more convenient in the current set up where it only takes up a section of the screen so you can check stats whilst also seeing what’s going on. I suppose showing which talents are active with talents such as brawler could be useful but it’s essentially pointless to tell us adrenaline rush is in effect that kicks in the moment we take damage.

Lets not get carried away they actually said one map will come out next year and “another one has some chances to make it in time”. Assuming of course WG keep their word, they don’t have a great track record in that department.

Lets wait and see, not only have stats not been published but they have yet to go through testing. From what little information we have been given they seem at least provisionally interesting but it’s way too early to speculate.

WG have said they plan to give us one maybe two maps next year and as we all know WG always keep their word… Sadly the lack of new maps is a direct result of their submarine project but let’s hope we can finally get a nee map by this time next year.

I’m certainly not a fan of the changes and will be providing more detailed feedback as to what is missing and how it could be better on the PTS page. Still it’s amazing that they would think such a change would be good but I guess it’s a move to further simplify the game.

The tier 10s I like playing I will do in randoms the rest just co op and get it done approach.

Don’t worry they won’t keep us waiting long that’s for sure. WG have a unique talent in that regard.

It is utterly ridiculous that their damnable submarine project not only means no new maps but they can’t even adapt the old ones without breaking them. Sadly though I doubt this issue will be fixed within the next year given WGs laziness.

The thing that really annoys me is the whole point of Squid and Limbo ASW was they could launch the rocket projectiles over the ship so you could fire in front of the DD, but typical of WG they just made a pretty visual that is useless.

Out of curiosity is that website actually useful ? Also nicely done sir I have a lot of catching up to do.

The karma system is really a vent for the angry sensitive souls who don’t like it when you sink them, thus avoiding lots of support tickets from abusive messages. I can understand when you have say 20 or 30 karma it’s disheartening when your reported for playing well but it’s really not worth worrying about.

Despite all the things WG have done lately I’m pretty certain these will all sell exceedingly well, even the Saipan.

My guess would be she’s probably trying to make sure WG don’t cheat the community, given their track record I don’t blame her if that is the case.

None so far I have got quite a few to 20 points now but I can’t be bothered to rush getting them to 21 points
