Whilst the Kamchatka has become a legend for all the chaos she caused on the trip, she wouldn’t really work as a playable ship in game given that she was a armed supply ship. Her 47mm guns (all 6 of them) wouldn’t be all that impressive. Also WG might not want to remind their Russian players about the embarrassment that was the Second Pacific Squadron.

Only had this happen once and it might be an older bug I just missed. I had a battle last night where I couldn’t see the enemy secondaries as they were hitting my ship, I could hear them and I could see my health going down but I couldn’t actually see them. Wasn’t a huge issue but just really weird.

The fact so many people struggle in such a game mode is a shocking indictment of how bad things are. Sadly I think your right it’s exactly how WG want things to be.

I’m actually enjoying this mode but I think it helps I don’t take it too seriously. Now that doesn’t mean I don’t try my Best, but I expect my teammates to be hopeless. So when a lot hide behind islands or the German BB players to run to the back of the map I’m not so frustrated. It’s a great way to practice some tier 10s I don’t really play.

For just some fast close quarters fun I like it, that being said I’m not sure how long I will play it as it could easily get repetitive. It’s just a pity the core concept is beyond the majority of the player base apparently.

I’m genuinely curious how the Oil slick will appear in game. It will also be interesting to see if they have made any progress in creating a reason to choose between ping vs conventional torps. Still I’m distinctly underwhelmed by the apparent lack of effort in developing this submarine project. I guess the calls for a return on the money invested in this egregious project are getting louder.

Just putting this idea out there but I know with WG it’s going to be a NO. However could we please have the option to reset our captains when the submarines are forced on us again?

Although I know the answer will be no, but just a suggestion: Please could we have the option to reset all captain skills when this update goes out? Considering the impact subs have on certain ships it’s not that unreasonable a request.

At least it’s being done in closed testing this time and not on the live server, the appalling state of the whole submarine project beggars belief.

Whilst I would never buy a hybrid ship (just not my thing and they are so ugly) I do wonder when WG make a Lion hybrid, given she’s already a vicious fire starter would they go for a more AP or HE focused air strike.

Don’t worry I’m sure WG would never miss the opportunity to introduce a premium U 441 (at a very reasonable price I’m sure lol), a U-boat with improved AA for just that very reason. Ok historically her AA wasn’t all that effective, but let’s be honest WG are highly selective on the whole historical accuracy argument at the best of times.

I will go for Dido purely due to being an unashamed RN fan, however I’m not expecting much from her.

I’m sure such a ship will come out as a premium at some point.

Good to see the tests of Superships proved so successful (apparently), and I can’t help but admire how quickly WG are coming out with these designs. If only we could see such breakneck speed when fixing bugs.

I agree though, it’s a nice little feature.

Easy pass on the Grem I don’t have that many doubloons on my account and I refuse to give WG any more of my money. I might consider the coal but it’s not very likely.

Whilst I did like playing as the higher tier team can imagine I was in the minority in that regard, and at least in my opinion the reason was the lack of compelling incentives to play the higher tier ships.

Ah thanks for that, I confess I use the news section of the main website more than the forums so that’s on me. Just my luck though to have stared grinding the rewards thinking I could finish them over the weekend. Anyway thank you for the reply

So considering the point WG made about “wanting to improve communication” I trust WG will be coming out with a statement on the main news page or even gracing the forums with this news. Maybe perhaps even letting us know about any rewards we were grinding towards right @YabbaCoe?

I would rather have pay to early access than some of WGs other more shady practices for milking us.

Whilst I wouldn’t spend that kind of money on a single ship ( and not just because my better half would kill me) there are more than enough people who will spend that to get her sooner. I would say though I don’t have a problem with that, if people want to throw money at WG for early access they are most welcome too.

Sadly I’m not surprised, and it’s not as though this was their first attempt at Asymmetric battles. Did they miss file the spreadsheet data from last time?

Kami is a lot of fun and she’s still got a lot of potential in todays meta, sure CVs are a real threat to her both due to spotting and direct attack, but down at tier 5 most players really don’t know about WASD hacks. I don’t own a Grem but I have seen several in action recently and they certainly seem very potent still, actually when I’m in my Kami the thing I fear most is a well played Grem.
