I like the idea of trying to add more skill to the game, and to the OPs credit he has sparked an interesting debate trying to think beyond the idea of just changing AA values. The sad thing is WG would never consider anything that makes playing CV harder than just point and click, they have made it quite clear they consider CV players incapable of being able to multitask.

They have not actually lost any money due to ATOL, they will get the money refunded (it's a slow process but they have not lost the money). Also thats a bankruptcy are you saying WG is about to go bankrupt, if not them your analogy is so flawed as to be pointless

Sadly don't think we will see those operations return anytime soon. WG have clearly lost interest in operations and whilst the reasons why are debated, the depressing reality is we are stuck with the very limited selection of operations for the foreseeable future.

This reply would only make sense/ be relevant if WG was going bankrupt and despite the usual doom mongers always saying the game is dying WG doesn't appear to be going bankrupt. Secondly on a technical point if an airline were to go bankrupt there is actually a ton of consumer protection in place so customers don't loose all their money. So considering your reply is so inaccurate one has to question as to why you even made it. So prehaps it would be better to get back to the point, was WG dishonest/ misleading in how they portrayed the PR event as a free ship.

Personally I like Kongou, but if I’m feeling evil and want to annoy my gf I will use Yukikaze, being Japanese she cannot keep a straight face at these OTT anime girls.

Almost finished Directive 2, I will get directive 3 done before the time limit expires but I just cannot be bothered to put any real effort in beyond that.

I re did the British and Japanese cruiser lines just to see if it was something that would entertain me. Wasnt especially hard and was mildly interesting to replay ships and see if I appreciated them more a second time around. However I cannot see any reason to do it again the NTC just doesn't offer anything that interests me

Don't think I will be tempted, for the foreseeable future my wallet is staying closed to WG especially considering the direction they are heading

Well considering the number of people who bought boosters for the PR as well as bought it outright we will see more of the same kind of "free content", as well as lots more short term grinds with new currencies and loot boxes

I'm quite hopeful for the Thunderer, I have just about got the coal I need for her and I do enjoy fast battleships so fingers crossed. I'm a fan of the HMS Hood so I hope that the Thunderer is a similar kind of vessel.
