The odds of getting a ship in these bundles do seem pretty low but it's for that very reason I will not buy the doubloon bundles, these are tech tree ships will soon be available to everyone anyway. still personally I preferred the early access method WG used with the release of British CVs.

This bug can get quite funny when people panic seeing the torps come towards them, but once the torps pass through an island or exceed their stated range they become harmless.

I remember watching some CCs doing reviews on the new British heavy cruisers (Yuzral comes to mind as one who pointed this out) and correct they don't have propulsion mod 2 baked in. My suspicion being this because WG don't feel they need it, the light cruisers do need it seeing as they tend sit in smoke a lot where as the heavies appear to designed more around kiting and hard cover

I could be wrong but I think its the clan bonuses from the Christmas events (snowflakes etc) as some people where not getting their clan bonuses when they received coal and steel, the plan was to compensate us this patch. Even if im wrong im still happy for an extra 107 Steel

I have had this bug a couple of times in Operation Aegis where when the Shores sinks but the circle to pick him up and the point on the mini map do not converge

Certainly it's a good cause to donate towards the recovery effort, or wildlife care etc. However considering the time it takes WG to develop a new ship or at least modify an existing one I think this is beyond their ability. It's just easier to not try and get WG involved in this issue, they are better staying with donating to museum ships like they did with the USS Texas. Still Im all for further developing the commonwealth line with a mix of Australian, New Zealand and Canadian ships. Personally I would love to see HMS (later HMNZS) Black Prince, a Bellona sub class of the Dido class added.

I have never found hydro to be too much of a problem for my survival, sure it's annoying when your trying to torp someone and he gets early warning. However the only real danger from hydro is if I'm being rushed by a German (or to a lesser extent) British DD, from BBs and cruisers it's quite easy to lay smoke to avoid being spotted and relocate fast, ideally whilst torping your old smoke while you get out of there.

I certainly don't envy new players coming into the game considering the current state of low tiers with so many CVs in them. Also unfortunately a lot a new players don't want to take time learning a ship and the intricacies of the game, its just human nature to rush up the lines leaving the protected match making and running headlong into a very CV heavy meta.

Never seen this achievement before so I found it cool, otherwise a pretty dull scenario battle more fighting in chat than in the game as is normal for the weekend

If it was guaranteed then I would seriously consider it not because it's early access but rather because I like the camo scheme.

At absolute best WG might and I stress only might have learnt to make marketing a little clearer when they advertise new events. However as the numbers show plenty of people were willing to sink money into the PR grind, so we can safely say there will be more grinds of this nature in the future. Now if people are happy to do those grinds and pay that's up to them, let's just hope WG do prove better at explaining such future grinds.

Largely a good example of Murphy's law in action, you take a ship hoping for a CV in a CV heavy queue and you won't get them, take a ship with no AA but the queue that says no CVs waiting your guranteed to get in CV match. Honestly im surprised the Kirov would be your ship of choice, admittedly it's been ages since I last played her but I don't remember her being anything that special in terms of AA. Also she's a rather long ship I would have expected her to be vulnerable to torped strikes. Still I could easily be wrong like I said it's been quite some time since I played her.

Does anyone get the same kind of impression reading the original post that they do reading an article about a extraordinarily expensive hotel out in a tropical paradise somewhere? The kind of place where the owners have realised that good publicity will draw lots of customers, and is told in this kind of whimsical story style.

There are plenty of battlecruisers I would love to see in game but it would be easier to just make them an alternative battleship line for those nations that had them (or knowing WG had plans to build them). Still I don't think it will be any time soon, the most famous battlecruisers would mainly be lower tier ships and WG isn't that interested in lower tiers. Best we can hope for would be a R class premium, still I would love to see either Repulse or Renown in game.

Very true the level of detail in the models is truly beautiful, I admit I often enjoy exploring the ships in my port checking out all the little details.

Once I saw the mission requirements I knew I couldn't have done it over Christmas so only used the few free boosters I got from very casual play and happily got the PR 69% finished. A number I couldn't be happier with.

Oh but its so much fun making extraordinarily bad CV players who fly into flack clouds rage in chat and report me for daring to shoot down their planes. Still your right the good CV players who know how to dodge are being inconvenienced in their damage farming race and we shouldn't have that.

For the tokens bundles I have had: 2 Flags and 1 camo 2 Flags and 1 camo 50,000 Credits, 400 coal and 1 camo 2 flags 1 camo As for the premium bundle I was offered 4 flags but felt that wasn't a sufficient incentive so didn't get it

The randomness of when WG tease and then release a new premium ship always makes it hard to guess release dates look how long it took them to release HMS Indomitable. Still makes sense as a marketing ploy but teasing a variety of ships it keeps us interested and coming back.

Although I would be extremely unqualified for running a clan, I wish you the best of luck with the treatment your getting and I admire your attitude and resolve. Hope to see you in battle sometime captain.
