Considering the rewards available for this event and the hall of fame, I genuinely cannot see why you would even bother using a bot or shared account to grind this out . It just seems so pointless...

I'm all for adding new maps, I got to try the planned new map on the PTS server it's ok not very original but I'm all for variety and it's certainly ok. The only thing I pray though is they do not make such terrible designs as North ever again, which quite frankly looks like it was designed by the WOT team considering it's a series of narrow corridors that suit static defence.

So I have to wonder will this have the same frustrating tendency to be over penned if hit with AP

Sadly vary similar experiences here, we lost 1 Scharnhorst that rushed the Emerald and another BB died whilst failing to kill the CV. Still the other thing that really bugs me is when someone asks who wants to go for the transports, no one replies but suddenly the guy who asked gets 2 or 3 shadows following him leaving you suddenly alone with the convoy. It was after this battle I just stopped playing

I completely understand your frustration. The ability of some players to totally fail at Narai is amazing, however the signs would be useless just as they are useless on the map North, where still a lot of battleship players go hide down that channel.

I cannot speak for gameplay at 3am as I strongly beleive I should be in bed at that hour. Still there is a variation in the overall quality of gameplay at certain times of day, evenings and weekends you will generally get worse gameplay I presume this is because the more casual players are out in force.

Sadly this issue has been raised by many people and time and again WG's response has been CVs are fine surface ship players need to just get better. I truly feel sorry for new players coming into the game low tier ships have terrible AA and the players are still learning how to counter air attacks. Unfortunately I cannot see the situation changing anytime soon. I would suggest bringing this screen shot over to the main discussion on CVs as it is a reoccurring theme.

Sadly if you have completed the directives then no you cannot get any more tokens, because 5th February was the last day that tokens were available as part of the daily missions.

I have not played my Moskva in ages but actually she is a very capable ship, so even if she wasn't going to become a premium I would suggest getting her, but now she's going to be a premium I would strongly recommend grinding her out.

I could well be mistaken but I believe it's based on the 1930s China Station camouflage, also it was a common dockyard livery.

Im not even sure this is big enough of an issue to call it "a storm in a tea cup".

I remember Jingles has occasionally shown examples of people abusing the team damage system in this way. I would suggest submit the replay to WG in the form of a support ticket, and if you found the guys behaviour particularly frustrating you could try sending the replay link to Jingles and see if it catches his attention (although that is understandablely a very long shot).

I have done all of the directives and collected about 2/3 of the daily mission tokens getting myself the Devonshire. Not a great ship you have to mostly play quite selfishly at long range to damage farm BBs, although she will really hurt DDs if your lucky to be within range when they are spotted, I will use her for operations only I think. Still I love the Royal Navy China station camo so not all bad.

Operations are counted Im certain of that because I got bored last week and actually watched the number go up as I played them exclusively for a couple of days. Im also assuming that special events such as Rogue Wave and Space battles are counted.

They always do it this way with any short term currency available with daily missions and end them on a random date shortly before the event ends. WG don't really take anything away doing it this way, but with them the devil is in the detail:

Sadly yes this is a pretty common occurnace in lower tier games now, but we can be reassured that WG have the looked at the problem and said we just need to get gud.

So as a Daring I solo cap B then go over to C cap, I kill both their Haragumo and Shima, which turns out to be 2 of the 3 kills my team achieves all match. Annoyingly we didn't loose many ships, our BBs were pretty much full health at the end.

They just kept pushing 1 at a time, mind you the Mino on my team helped a lot so earned his +1.

A very interesting read and I had noticed that the models didn't look quite right (Surrey especially looks wrong) but I had not put the level of effort in that the OP has, so it was very interesting to read the details. I have only played the Devonshire thus far and I do agree she's rather lacklustre, sure you can damage farm with the HE but she lacks impact ( unless you run into a DD) your an annoyance to BBs too much akin to the Italians for my liking. I do look forward to hearing more about the Goliath and is she a product of WGs designs or is she based on a real RN design.

Rude players in chat who hide behind islands but issue orders to everyone else what to do, but are doing nothing themselves. Also since the rework any game with CVs in.

Sometimes it's good to take a break from this game. I'm far from an amazing player but even I get frustrated at some of the mind bogglingly bad teammates. There is nothing quite as worrying as a full health Fredrick the Great BB demanding a half health Ibuki to go tank for him, or when a team asks a DD to spot a cap but then when the DD does it the team ignore the radar cruiser that's blocking the cap because they want to farm the other teams BBs at max range. I'm sure we all have si,ulnar such experiences and it can get really annoying. This is why I suggest taking a break sometimes getting away and doing something else helps break up the frustration of bad teammates and helps rejuvenate the enjoyment.
