Hopefully this will remove the slingshot exploit but not unfairly cripple CV players, although judging by the hysteria of the comments I saw on Facebook etc from CV players apparently they cannot survive without slingshot....

I have seen battles where the top 2 of the loosing team had more base XP than the leader of the winning team but not this obvious a difference, I'm going to guess they got control of the caps and won on points

Yet again a poor use of the term Legend, I'm all for videos of museum ships but a very questionable decision putting it in a Legends video.

Simpson's and anime jokes aside, I would like to see marks of excellence added to the game, not everything needs to be a bonus or affect my stats just a nice visual indication for myself to see I don't completely potato in this boat (sometimes)

It's a very different game for DD players these days. You need to be aware of your ships AA ranges and air detectability, it's usually best to have your AA turned off to avoid letting the CV know your there and only turn it on if you have too, and then dodge like crazy, I prefer to try going towards the planes to reduce his aiming time. Hide in smoke is often necessary British DDs are good for that as they have a lot of smoke charges. Be prepared to have to run back to teammates who have better AA than you if the CV really obsessed on you. Quite honestly though its all down down to the determination and ability of the CV player, a good CV player will kill you all you can do is delay him, a bad CV player however you can drive nuts as they waste time (but expect to be reported as a result).

Seriously their criticism isn’t toxic, it’s highlighting a concern they have because they do love the game and want it to succeed. We don’t need CCs who are sycophants, and it is to WGs credit they don’t expect their CCs to be dishonest in their reviews either. Compared to some of the people on here the CCs are often extremely positive.

It is a really bad design. Still I cannot see WG doing anything about it, because why would ships that are probably already damaged and have lost a lot of AA mounts need to be able to kill or at least knockout a CVs ability to keep putting up Wave upon wave of planes

In the current rounds of sub testing CVs are set up as the best sub hunters, even when the subs are submerged at attack depth

Wouldn't surprise me if in time they become a usable weapon, after all we have depth charges modelled in game and subs currently in development

I chose to free XP to the Albemarle and doing that along with daily missions shouldn’t be too hard. As for the directives it’s good that they are not too crazy but ones such as 20 fires in a single battle are quite RNG dependant (and are sure to make the salt fly even more than usual).

Cheat and just take her out in Co op also gets you the tokens

Just send the replay to WG support, they won't get permanently banned but they will get some sort of sanction. I got team killed today but the guy doing it was obviously incompetent rather than malicious so I left it with him turning pink but malicious team killing always warrants support tickets

Tier 10 really isn't the place to credit farm, better off doing that in tiers 6 and 7 especially in the operations

From what I have seen from various CCs the London looks very underwhelming. One thing that bugs me is from what I can see Devonshire is the superior ship despite being a much earlier version of the County Class. I know it's meant to be a balancing issue considering the smoke, but I completely concur with Trainspite I would rather it be buffed and made a tier 7 (sadly though not going to happen), it's a pity that it's such a mediocre ship.

If you really suspect that they were passing information along then send the replay in the form of a support ticket to WG for them to look at, as prehaps there is some very obvious sign of them having unreasonable information of how ships were positioned. Although it has happened to me where I randomly found myself facing a triple division of my clan mates and because I know how they play I could accurately guess where they were, so it might not be cheating (no way to know without seeing the replay, and then it's up to WG to judge). Still my clan mates and I take considerable delight in trying to kill each other.

It's happened to me a few times today and it drove one of my clan mates nuts this evening during clan battles. It's so frustrating when it de-syncs

Well I wasnt planning to buy a ship I can happily earn for free but the London seems capable but probably requires a certain level of experience on positioning and how to play cruisers a bit like Exeter for example

Oh never underestimate random teammates; some people can combine those issues and charge forward in their top tier CV at the start of the match, into 5 enemy's be the first to die, all whilst spamming they need air support.

I'm sure in time we will see a German CV line but I doubt it will be anytime soon, partly because WG have basically got bored of trying to balance CVs and they have decided we want subs so that will be their focus for the foreseeable future. Still in 2 years time it's quite possible we will see them.
