Talk about a polarising experience, there are clearly some who loved and some who hated this event. It will be interesting to see if it gets repeated ever.

The collection to get the Captain is fun and I do love the noise the boxes make as you open them. The 9 caps mode is entertaining mostly for the confusion of a lot of people. I utterly loathed the Clan Brawl however, beyond insufferable, really couldn't enjoy it. So mixed result from my perspective.

Well the clan brawl experience was extremely un fun and irritating still only took a couple of battles to know that with CVs in Clan battles are not for me.

Well if nothing else this experience has convinced me that the next season of clan battles with CVs will be so un fun I wont participate.

As far as I understand it we get them via completing the mission to kill a ship in Co-op, random or Scenario.

Just remember gentlemen we have until the 9th April to get him so if you are doing the collection just keep that in mind.

I know the article tells us we have until the 9th April to complete the mission, however the in game mission tracker doesn't have an expiry date, now I'm not a coder and so I don't know how easy/ difficult it is to put a expiry date on, but I do know people and I can promise you that you will get a fair number of people complaining because they don't know the expiry date and then miss it. I guess it's because they decided to make him Irish in his back story. Still if nothing else I'm curious to hear what he says.

If nothing else it's fascinating seeing the reactions in chat when people realise there are 9 caps. Only had it happen twice so far and was alright, I'm not sure how I will feel after experiencing arms race though...

My go too ships when I'm having bad days with teammates are British DDs or Japanese cruisers, they tend to have a lot of flexibility with both guns and torps as well as being able to kite away dealing damage so you don't get trapped. If im getting CVs a lot then usually the British DDs are my preferred option because of their smoke. As others have said though you ideally want at least a 10 point captain.

I thought I had a tough game but I couldn't help but feel sorry for the enemy Yamato, to get 2600 base XP on a loosing team and 6 kills, he very nearly won the game too it came down to him vs our Goliath as the last surviving players it was tense!

Really random thing but I didn't realise you can get the Shark amongst Shrimps achievement in Operation Killer Whale for killing all the transports, not really a important achievement but certainly surprising.

Not a conventional achievement but Im pleased I finally got this number just because, even if its nothing compared to our own resident Angel of Death AKA El2aZer (now if only it was worth something...).

It's probably just testing for the up coming Soviet helicarriers that can fly across the map.

I'm in no doubt it will come out, probably in the wake of Russian cruiser split event. The only issue will be will WG consider it in need of nerfing before they release it, considering they have plenty of feedback from supertesters and CCs then they can just compare it to the almighty spreadsheet so we will see who wins Balance or Bias.

I would certainly like to see some new achievements added, especially ones geared towards teamplay or focused on objectives.

Not a major issue but not sure if this is a bug, had an OK game in my Daring passed out a brace compliments and got one in return saw my Karma increase by 1 point for a moment then went back down again but no notification of be being reported,

Thunderer for me although the Hood is a very close second

If you are enjoying them then I would recommend getting the ships especially considering you can earn a premium camo to mount on them. To be fair they are not bad boats it's more I don't enjoy playing in them.

I got the tier 5 and 6 DDs so far and I really don't enjoy them so I won't bother getting the others (assuming I can get enough tokens) so from now on I will get premium time. I would suggest watching some reviews of the new DDs see if they interest you enough to get them.

Weird I love Ocean it gives me a lot more freedom to play as I want rather than having to island hop all the time. Still I guess we all have our hated maps I for one loath North/Northern lights, and I get that map a lot, I would be in heaven if I got Ocean as often as I get North.

Nothing very special, but why on earth the enemy cruisers were so keen to show me their broadsides, im not complaining but its almost as though tier 10 players don't know how to angle armour

Whilst RTS had a lot of its own issues at least the CVs interacted with each other. Still I don't believe a role back is the solution, in an ideal world removing them would be for the best.
