Prince Eugen Battle starts: Are you ready to go, why are you smiling? (I also noted sometimes she says watch out for Hood but didnt manage to hear it this time) Calling support: Hey commander follow me! When selecting a way point "sure we will use those coordinates" Disengaging from way point "going back to free movement" When she eats a citadel she says "ouch that hurts!" (in a rather aggressive way apparently) When on fire she shouts "Damn it!, you need to stop the fire " Engine out of action "I cannot move" When you launch your torpedo's she just says "fire the torpedo's" (not very original I know) When on fire: What is that quick put it out now! We missed a lot as my wife was crying with laughter but I will try to get her to do this properly but hope it gives you an idea of what kind of thing they say

Good grief reading this thread is giving me flash backs to my last litigant in person trial, where the defendant thought they knew more about the law than either the prosecution lawyer, the Judge and in the end even the court appointed defence lawyer.

I doubt very much WG will make a specific Greek line but it would be very possible they would be added under the umbrella of the Pan European line with the ability to fly a Greek flag. Personally I'm all for adding more ships real from various nations so would love to see these ships introduced.

I can understand the desire to get the Alaska whilst I don't play mine nearly enough since getting her she is a good ship butwhen you can just grind her for free XP it seems madness to pay for her. Still I feel sorry for anyone who would use that awful Octodroid camo, bonuses or not those halloween camos are hideous.

CVs ruin the game for a lot of people sadly and it’s not helped by the current lack of balancing in that regard, beyond hoping the CV player is incompetent. The best thing you can do is try to mitigate the amount of damage the CV does by setting your AA priority sector and try to dodge ( although how best to do that depends a lot if what CV it was and what strike aircraft). If you would like some suggestions on damage limitation I’m happy to offer my input OP.

Honestly once subs come out I might just play my Konig Albert exclusively or walk away from the game for several months at the very least, I just cannot be bothered to endure another farce like the CV rework.

A very pleasant surprise and much appreciated thank you guys! Honestly I enjoy the PTS in part I try to be helpful and it's a great way to enjoy the game at the weekends trying out some ideas.

It wasn't that long ago we had a similar thread about this topic from what I recall there hasn't been a noticeable decline in DD players but there is an odd tendency for the match maker to sometimes shove 4 DDs per side and then the very next battle only put 1 per side or none. MacArthur did a very good discussion about this too. I do admit though from my experience battles without DDs do become considerably more passive and often result in several BBs all clustering around 1 island.

I actually didn't mind bastion certainly when compared to some more recent additions to the game but sadly I am in the minority as a lot of people loathed it as a game mode and were extremely vocal about it and Wargaming listened to player feedback (I know heaven forfend right!!) and removed it.

Oh and I know I have suggested this before on the forum but just because it would be a lot of fun in my opinion; a tier 8 Operation Pedestal from the Malta convoys. Essentially Pedestal was an Allied convoy escorted by 4 carriers, 2 battleships, 7 cruisers and 32 destroyers plus various smaller craft that was under constant attack from the Axis navies (cruisers, destroyers and motor torpedo boats) and air forces. As a in game operation it could be a bit like Dynamo with waves of planes and MTBs attacking your convoy which you have to escort, but add in a few cruiser waves for good measure plus a few Italian BBs, I think it should be a lot of fun. Sadly I know I'm dreaming WG have been very clear Operations are not of any interest to them anymore.

Just for fun I would love a tier 4 scenario based around the German WW1 raids on British towns like the Raid on Scarborough, essentially playing as a force of British (plus allied ships) sent to investigate the attack on the town, first meeting the German DD escorts then cruisers and BBs. To force people to actually engage the bots you have to intercept them before they do a certain amount of damage to the town.

If its any consolation the Smolensk is still bristling in ASW kit, so good to know right...

It usually takes a few days once the patch goes live but to WGs credit we do always get them.

It's a bit like when the HMS Daring lost her Squid launcher, WG are doing some strange things with the ship models regarding their Anti Sub armaments.

Perhaps, however I still believe good play should be acknowledged when it occurs.

I have found when complimenting a person in chat first of all don't just say WP you have to say what they did or a lot of people assume your being sarcastic. Also never ever tell a CV in chat your giving him +1 they always get really offended, if you feel a CV deserves it give it anonymously.

As we are not going to see German jets on a carrier flight deck in game I will leave you with this view of HMS Reaper.
