Although there are a few unpleasant people I have encountered in the game it's not that bad, admittedly in my line of work it pays to be pretty thick skinned but the rare few really foul mouthed individuals are hardly a big deal and can always be reporte to support if you find it unacceptable. Only once have I ever lost my cool in game and even then although the other player was irritating as all hell it was more because of the stress from the case I was dealing with at work and the other player was just the toxic "straw that broke the camels back".

True but the kitakami doesn't worry me, I have fought a few a it's much like dealing with a benham or a benham division only easier provided of course you don't over extend and get in a cross fire situation.

I will still take this over the constant plethora of CV games I have had to endure lately.

It is a pity that WG are not interested in addressing this issue there are plenty of fun ships in the lower tiers but it's rarely worth the stress of 2 CVs per side so they get neglected.

I know that feeling all to well have an amazing game in a DD do an incredible amount of damage but up against 2 CVs a DDs life is going to be hell to say the least.

Of course the idea of free respec or doing it for silver would be wonderful however I cannot see WG being that generous, we don't even get free respec's as a matter of course for clan wars anymore. The idea of buying a fleet wide respec would be interesting but 24 hours is a bit of a tight window to test things out, especially if you have a lot of ships. To motivate people to spend that kind of doubloons in one go I would think 48 or 72 hours would make it a more tempting proposition.

I have been considering resetting a line to just get me enough points for the Slava but I'm still undecided if I can really be bothered or not.

I certainly wouldn’t expect much though for any summer sale. WG are getting less generous and there are some on the forum who get more than a little carried away expecting ridiculous reductions.

I’m expecting 1.0.0 to be saved for a really big overhaul so most likely that will be the release of subs. More likely we will get 0.10.0. As for getting anything from WOWS your best bet is their birthday which isn’t far off.

WG do say that they listen to our feedback, but in my honest opinion no they don't pay any attention to anything written here.

The steel camo is stupidly over priced, I really like the look of it and for a couple of thousand steel I would find it acceptable but the price they ask is way too much for a camo.

Since the rework no, I used to hold out hope WG could balance them out but I have got to the stage I would rather they just got rid of the class (although I know that won't happen).

I certainly prefer the early access option where you can choose if you want the ship or something else. I’m just going sell the German CV I got as I have absolutely no interest in playing them whatsoever it’s just a free port slot.

I admire the OPs desire to try and find a way to balance the impact of CVs in ranked and the realism in that there is no way WG would ever remove them. However their spotting potential is so great they really change the whole dynamic of the battle so even dropping a tier wouldn't have that much of an impact.

Whilst I'm not a fan of this particular way of doing things. WG were pretty upfront at the start you had to spend money to get this done, and quite frankly looking at the past year surely no one can honestly be surprised that they would include a pay wall. Easiest solution is when they do things like this just don't worry about it, don't spend the money and play for fun problem solved. Admittedly for me that's really easy as I loath rework CV gameplay but if its a different event ask yourself is it worth your money. WG have seen time and again as they incrementally raise the bar more than enough people will pay out (same with loot boxes) so clearly for all the complaining on the forums more than enough people don't mind paying so no way its going to change.

A very small suggestion and i admit this is partly a vent without wanting to start another whole thread, but please can we have better randomisation of maps, Im so fed up of always playing on North more than any other map especially given its my most hated map due to the narrow corridors that outwit a fair few players.

I would be rather surprised if she wasn't still extremely capable after all this is WG we are talking about, but I am curious if she's designed very much as a long range sniper and therefore actually vulnerable in close quarters

This issue of CVs taking fire/ flooding damage does raise a question for me before the dark times of the CV rework, CVs used to catch fire and this would stop them launching planes unless the CV player had invested in the appropriate captain skills to launch planes even if slowed down. Also CVs were given a defensive AA consumable (back when AA consumables were useful) usually only 1 just to ward off a potential CV snipe. Now I wasn't active on the forum but perhaps some of the older forumites can help me, but was the forum deluged with CV players complaining they couldn't cope with being sniped or they couldn't cope with being on fire? Simply because from my own memory I recall the inclusion of the defensive AA did significantly reduce the number of CV snipes I witnessed or managed to achieve.

Seeing as we already opened the door to anime when can we expect either Gundam or Sailor moon...

Whilst I admit the presence of CVs is the main reason I won't bother to participate in CB, if nothing else watching this discussion develop provides plenty of entertainment, although I fear the mods may not agree.

Not my thing but hey as we have seen from the anime, space and Halloween events is that plenty of people like to pay to personalise their ships so all good.

I have never hidden the fact I hate North/ Northern lights because I always get the team that cannot cope with the D cap, as per this mornings depressingly normal screen shot where our full health West Virginia not only went around the outside but never left there.

I guess they could make it so you make a rude noise and blow some bubbles
