What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
Tugnut replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
Great game in the Buddy.... was a tier8 game to Replay here... or if you just want to see the SS they are they to: http://wowreplays.com/Replay/4585-Tugnut-Budyonny-Trap or on youtube: -
Great DD dont let it pass your fingers if you love DD sailing 7 main guns 12k range 2x3 8k torps (forgot there speed and closed the game down but some thing like 56K a little slow imho) 39 knots and the camo looks great (yup i get off on how good a ship looks in paint ) IMHO a great prem DD and a lesser bundle price tag at the time of posting this makes it not so hard to swallow.... lets face it £21 for a tier 7 prem ship is not that bad
-
There are a lot easyer ways to deal with torps... main one dont sail in one direction at the same speed for long periods of time... also with commander perk your spotted but you cant see any ships more likely to be a DD hunting you... take note of when DD are spotted and how many and what class of DD are in the game. If you're just looking for a way of avoiding torps with no effort your in the wrong game.

Some of your points are correct but your post is well wrong. CV class is hard to play and a bad CV player can hinder the team a lot.... But BB's are not easy to play they are just more forgiving if they have a bad player playing them... and games are lost due to bad BB players. Wrong placment bad angling poor aim and with poor aim your talking a good few mins maybe for them to get any damage at all. All the classes can be played by any one but to play them well can be the diffrence on a win or a loss. I am a ok CV player but i suck at playing BB wel,l so i could never claim they are "easy"

How many of you finished or are about to successfully finish "Captain Extraction" in order to get 16 points "Hiei" captain?

Add the player to your block list problem solved.

ClearSkys higher tier is hard to get as you got to get a % of aircraft and i think it includes all ship base planes not just the CV ones.

try reading the posts and you find its cv players talking about cv ballence in the game as to cv v cv and the mm involved in this to.

So you Balance the current CV's out... not sure how this is done with out making clones! so a 3ed or 4th options of CVs would shake it up a bit no? get rid of mirror MM well I dont mind it like it is now or going back to maybe no CV on the other side or your side... it means CV players that go full air superiority can be a big gamble lol And to be honest no matter how "balanced" the CV's are the biggest diffrence is at the keyboard interface lvl. and no matter how good MM or ships are the ID10T behind them can mean total fail of a team.

300+ games but I'm starting to lose so much I'm not enjoying the game anymore!
Tugnut replied to IanH755's topic in General Discussion
I have been skilling up my cv captains so been using them in all my prem ships... when skilling up my IJN captain i started at my lowest prem ships and worked up... well first was my tachibana omg forgot how much i love this ship... so i am using it with a captain with all the cv skills nothing else but it still kicked rudder and was easy top ship. Some times you need to forget about the grind and go play fav ships and just have fun... and the wins will follow -
Need some more CV from other nations to shake it up a bit
-
Could be your own team... maybe some one felt you "kill stole" from them and they plus maybe a platoon friend reported you.
-
killed a atlanta in mine they are squishy to the drop bombers..... so my advice dont waist it on the fighters as if i see you used it on me fighters i wait tell the AA abilty runs out and tally hoe
-
I have gone with the 3 fighter and 1 drop bomber set up... and having great fun with it...... the Drop bomb wing has many planes in it and it hurts if it gets a good hit in the 3 fighters are kinda week (even being t9 planes) but its anouth for spotting and keeping fighters at bay. but them drop bombers omg, cant wait for air supremacy that will make that set up very nice Think it will cause lots of problems to MM as there be players not knowing how to play a CV well and i guess they will go with the 2 torp bomber set up and manual drops plus 1 fighter wing will punish them if a good CV player on the other side.
-
its a constant in the universe lol
-
Try not sailing in a straight line when the planes are flying to the side of your ship. Turn away... if your trying to dodge the torps your doing it way to late.
-
I think the RN has turned in to a bad word on the forums. Surprised its not on the bad word filter lol Any ways WGing to busy with the Russian ships that was soo op in history errrr :/
-
T10 mm is out of wack (lack of ships to chose!) And soo many DD per game :/ CV as others have said the difference in a good and bad CV pilot is massive and a big game changer. CV you could make them more user friendly but that would make the good/great pilots OP again in there CV's makes the class hard to balance. Then again a lot of players lacking in common sence are getting to the top tier now to :/ watching your high tier key ships chase enemy ships to the edge of the map in a domination game can be very frustrating

Idea: Ability to choose consumable once in the beginning of a match
Tugnut replied to Ze_Reckless's topic in General Discussion
CV players had the same idea in the old days before you all ways matched a CV.... Never will happen tis a gamble you take when you press battle. -
Battleship players are ruining the mid tier gameplay as much as DDs are ruining high tier.

Newbie looking for advice regarding US and Japanese CV
Tugnut replied to g1g5's topic in General Discussion
Also thinking about it learn about ships and there AA as selecting the correct target so you dont waist your aircraft to AA. CV micro management means your going to be busy... very busy. Lots to do in a game and if running ijn cv with lots of wings it can be mental. Staggering you attack can also benefit you... send in a wing so you set fires or flooding. Wait for them to repair and then send in the next... if you set more fires or flooding they cant repair a 2nd time. Remember your going to be busy. Keeping track of all your aircraft and what they are doing Keeping track of the enemy aircraft and what they are doing Keeping track of your ship direction/position Spotting cap points for your DD and spotting the enemy DD Avoiding aa ability on bombing runs and staggering attacks Keeping a eye on the map on what the enemy are doing and supporting where needed. Trying to balance staying close to the fleet to help turnaround of aircraft but not to close you become a target. LoL I play a few games in my CV then leave them for a wile due to the amout of work it takes. To be a good/great cv pilot you got to be good at micro management.
