Algérie, Henri IV and Duca d'Aosta preliminary stats
Blitzkrieguk replied to Darth_Glorious's topic in Cruisers
I'm going to say it. The bow's ugly and the turrets + guns look like a horrible accident. -
Historical stats in a WG game, well meme'd. I'm pretty sure it will be tweaked. For example the sigma/dispersion, play with the rudder shift/maueverability or maybe give it a Warspite heal. If they made it more agile would be quite nice. Problem is they will try to not make it too similar to the warspite most likely which is a shame as that set a good bar for RN BBs.

How about a ship upgrade that reduces maximum firing range?

Still physically looks like an ugly Warspite. -

Which wouldn't explain the MM. However at a guess, might be due to the slimmer numbers at 9 and 10 they are plonking a lot more DDs together to put the matches together as there is a slim amount of CA/CLs and CVs creating the illusion at high tiers there are a lot of DDs. Which wouldn't surprise me. -

At T10 MM the number of DDs is actually pretty high i've noticed. When playing my fletcher i'd see either 1 to 5 aside but normally 2 to 3. I got my Gearing last week and every game i've been in it I saw 4 to 5 DDs a side. I've noticed recently in general at T10 MM there are a large number of DDs compared to a lot of other tiers. -
Actually these were above water torpedo's.

Ah sorry I misunderstood, thought you meant originally you were 2 points from 19. Not a bad build at all. Works nicely, here's the build i'd work towards currently. http://shipcomrade.com/captcalc/0100000000100010000001010000100119

Not sure if you got your link wrong mate, only showed a 10 point captain instead of 17.

Sounds like your damage control is now on cool down. Maybe you should add that to your Dunkirque skill list, would be more useful than survivability expert
-
-
You say that, yet you pulled the stat argument upon me and it failed miserably, a bit like your Dunkirque build. At this stage you and your Dunkirque are literally maximizing your damage controls since you're both going down in flames.
-
He's not a troll. He's an idiot who's emotions run high and he's extremely defensive he's literally now resorting to this. Also the Dunkirque is a really nice ship. I really enjoy it, especially as it plays quite differently. Very fun and a definite recommendation. I've been running it with a pair of friends in 2 Faraguts and it works really nice as a big gun support for the pair as it's fast and agile enough to not fall too far behind and has the punch to deal with other BB's and cruisers which would cause my friends trouble. Still, I personally think the Warspite overall is the superior ship between the two, but both are extremely fun.
-
Sure check my stats you'll notice several things. First of all, they are severely better than yours in every regard. And my Dunkirque has a 75% win ratio and an average of 70k damage, yours sits at 49% and an average of 35k. Seriously did you just try to use the stats argument when you were literally crying about people who did that earlier and accused them as bullies. Jesus christ that was hypercritical and you just literally fell flat on your face. So i'm literally not going to sugar coat this. You are flat terrible, your skill selections and reasoning is absolutely ham handed. You've picked skills and a build that has little to no consequence on a ship that does not rely on a certain aspect. You then continue to berate and insult players who point out your flaws. Maybe you should actually stop being such a delicate flower and realise the reason you're actually awful is not just your build but how you actually play. Twisting and showing parts of your flanks in a Dunkirque just to fire off your secondaries...really. If you pulled that right infront of my Warspite for example I'd crush right through that doing monstrous damage simply because you showed a larger silhouette so you could fire some really toss secondaries which mostly point backwards. Infact it would be more useful to put a secondary build on the Warspite than the Dunkirque but I dread to see a Warspite with survivability expert, what waste of skills. Next time listen to what others say and put your damn emotions in check.
-
The only 2x sets of small secondaries can fire forward. So for your expert opinion of secondaries is fantastic, it obviously shows as you take 2100 extra hp on a battleship I'm sorry but your secondaries are only of major use when either broadside or running away, which you should be doing neither in this ship so thus they are of little use. Maybe you should actually take on board what others have said rather than getting overly defensive because people have pointed out the massive flaws in your build.
-
Someone got defensive really quickly. No point in a secondary build since all your secondaries are at the back and survival expert only grants 2100 hp which is nothing. It's only useful on DD's and the British CL's. That is it.
-
While I saw his stats, I thought maybe not to bring it into this. Never know, might be able to educate and persuade than belittle.

Neptune the worse tier Ix ship in game do you agree?
Blitzkrieguk replied to EMILY_FINEBOTTOM's topic in General Discussion
It's a good ship, and probably the 2nd best cruiser at 9. But the Neptune for it's tier is top. -
What? Survivability expert and maximising its secondaries 95% sit at the back pointing the other way? What kind of smoke filled, buffalo soldier playing haze do you live in?

Blitzkrieguk replied to EMILY_FINEBOTTOM's topic in General Discussion
It's literally the best T9 Cruiser. OP is struggling with the new Citadel. If you can't handle the Neptune just stop. Don't bother with the Minotaur. -
Still the ship i'm really looking forward to in the Battleship line
