To be honest its useful on the Moskva and Des Monies. It will last a century on the Des Moines. The smoke upgrade is probably only worth it on RN CLs. -

The Dunkek is a good choice. However if you want the best it is the Scharnhorst. The Atlanta is a fun little machine but its not an easy one to play due to its range, defensive capabilities and concealment. The Belfast is a great choice if you fancy a Cruiser. -

I found it useful. Also found when running in a division it was easier to be within range when smoking each other. I've got jack of all trades with the flag as well. And it is really nice. But i'm not sure if its as good as say adrenaline rush. Which im wondering how that would look on the minotaur I do use survival expert and I personally woudn't trade it. I chose to keep it over the Torpedo armament expertise. -

You can citadel Battleships under 10 to 12km. Depending on which one. I had a Missouri broadside me at about 10 km and I salvoed him for 30k from my frontal guns. The penetration on them is pretty insane. While I own the Minotaur, unless its another RN cruiser you have to be extremely close to citadel him. The Moskva on the other hand can citadel cruisers at 22km. The trajectory and velocity are extremely flat and extremely quick as they travel at almost 1000m/s. The penetration angles on the Russian AP seem to be more consistant than the German AP they just shatters at very slight angles. That said you do tend to change your ammo alot in the moskva. Was running expert loader on it and found it one of the only ships it was useful on. If only I could put steven seagal on it. If you want a Cruiser with insane AP get the Moskva.

I find the heal help immensely with longevity in a match allowing you to persist and make riskier plays as you do have healing capabilities. The other are the fact it's armed with torpedos. Due to that I found far more situations where I could pull off an aggresive attack and come out easily on top where in the Belfast my friend and I have said on quite a few multiple occasions that if I was in a Fiji I'd push in due to its torpedo armament where you can't do that in the Belfast as you do not have that burst damage. That is why I consider the Fiji to be superior due to its abilities of longevity and torpedo capability.

To be honest. The AP on the Moskva is far more brutal and reliable than german AP. The concealment is not great but it doesnt matter when you have a 22km range and can still citadel cruisers at that range. The Hindenberg is just kinda meh. All the other cruisers kind of do everything it does but better.

Wait till you get the Dm Donskoi and Moskva. They are just 20 km flame throwers.

Depends how you look at them. If you are talking about in random battles. Zao Minotaur Moskva Des Moines Hindenberg However for more competative team based play in my opinion. Moskva Des Moines Minotaur Zao Hindenberg Simply because the support capability of the Moskva and Des Moines increase due to the AA and radar capability. And the Minotaur probs wouldn't run smoke but instead rely on their dds smoke and provide radar and high dps and aa support. Where the zao lacks this capability but is still decent where the Hindenberg kind of gets left at the back. Just my opinion. -

I've played through the Nagato and just recently got the Gneisenhau. The Nagato took me a bit of time to get use to and eventually quite like it. The guns were brutal and damn accurate especially at range and felt I could bully a lot of opponents in it. I had no major problems fighting Gneisenhaus or the Scharnhorst, even though I never citadelled them in the Nagato, throwing 15k-20k salvos through it weren't an issue. That said, it took me until I was fully upgraded and some time to get into its swing. The Gneisenhau I have is stock and it's just pure brutality. I feel like its just the more powerful candidate where you can massivly impact the game compared to the Nagato. However since I do own the Scharnhorst I does feel very familiar. While OPs claims are highly incorrect about the Nagato, the Gneisenhau is the stronger ship especially for pushing down teams and being aggressive.

The work around is take radar. This way you get the same effect as having your current smoke but you also get radar
