HMS Hood available on the 19th May

Or, more importantly for me, take my 14 point captain to 19 points so i can use him to farm elite exp and get my other skippers up. I'll use the 12 point captain to create a Belfast skipper.

HMS Hood available on the 19th May

I wonder if people are failing to recognise the usefulness of a 12 point captain in that bundle. With new British lines coming this year

  5. Wait for the Tribal class they will be your thing
  6. My playstyle does rather suit DDs and CLs so quite looking forward to this. I enjoy Cambeltown but it's a tad low tier

    Hood, why so special?

why is Hood so damn special anyway? Warspite had a more glorious career, KGV was more modern and Nelson was a much better design. Bismark was the better biat but she us a normal T8 while hood is T7 with fantasy, over-buffed AA

    Dunkerque

I have noticed allot of people not understanding the dunkerque. Killed one a few nights ago who was going broadside against me, couldn't understand why he wasn't using the fire arcs and coming at me angled. Suffice to say, my Fiji flayed the poor bugger with a nice torp salvo to finish.

i couldn't possibly comment. I learned a long time ago that an Ann Summer's gift voucher is a fun get out of jail free card

    Hood, why so special?

The British are certifiably insane this has resulted in many military victories and leads to continental Europeans never understanding us as they tend to be boringly normal and sensible.

The "sod you" I'm buying Hood anyway thread

I've been learning to use smoke differently rather than to sit in it, develop firing solutions that do not involve smoke and still stay alive.

HMS Hood available on the 19th May

It's the 12 point captain. For people who do not work, who have plenty of game time then grinding isn't an issue. For pure casuals like me with families and full time jobs, who can only invest a few hours a day, the 12 point captain is extremely tempting. Doesn't help that "she-who-must-be-obeyed" has told me i can have it as an early birthday present if she can buy herself some new earings. For those who are single that tanslates as "i am buying them anyway so you buy your fancy ship so that i do not feel guilty about it."

It's an odd thing same in my shop everything is --.99 i don't understand it either, 9.99 is 10 in real terms.

    Warspite saved!

I mostly fight bow on, it annoys cruisers when I sail through thier HE and target cits under 10km so the turret traverse isn't a big deal

    Warspite saved!

Resolution Revenge Warspite valiant iron Duke Agincourt Centurion Thunderer Bellerophon Repulse Renown Invincible Inflexiible Indomitable Agamemnon Dunno, just seems they made an effort not to use the best names after WW1. If you look at the ships in the 18th and 19th century, they evoked a certain sense of power and majesty that HMS Norfolk or HMS Prince of Wales doesn't quite convey.

The "sod you" I'm buying Hood anyway thread

Yeah, I migrated to wt after getting all the Brit tanks (was with Wot the day brits where released) but the APHE v AP inbalance made me leave WT for WoWS as Brits where finaly released here (still play WT aviation as Brits are competitive as long as you do not fly a bomber). I am really enjoying the British cruisers and the gameplay.

But less overpen so kinda balances out. One thing that does annoy me about warspite is all the overpens.

James Bond was navy, just saying.

I was enraged by the staggered bundle thing. Saying that i work in retail and understand the mechanics of making a profit and how important it is for a free-to-play model to stay free-to-win. I do understand your point, i do not like it, but my customers do not like the fact i can't charge the same prices as tesco or sainsbury because they can loss lead and I can't. All in all, i can see why you have done it this way and it does make sense.

    Warspite saved!

What went wrong with the RN after WW1? I purcgased janes ships of WW1 in a second hsnd bookstore, RN ships had fear inducing names! Seems in WW2 the admiralty decided on all the lamest names for her capital ships
