Yeah, both Zombie camos where very nice and WG did a good job. Doesn't matter if you are a Teaboy or a Wehraboo (or just a Bismark/Hood) fan, there was something easily achievable for both camps out of this. If I was going to do Bismark I'd use the zombie camo too.

The "competitive" bull drove me away from WoT. I'm glad WoWS is more focused towards casual play.

The BB was a desperate attempt to keep the tradition of the 3rd and 1st rate man-o-war alive. Everyone had this ideal of massive naval battles like Trafalgar deciding wars in one glorious battle. That dream did at Jutland and WW2 was the last swansong. If you look at the naval aspect of WW2 the real workhorse, the real war winner was the DD. This is why the CA is dying out today, with the exception of the Yank aegis cruisers, most fleets are basicly CVs and FF/DD escorts

I would encourage you to study history when you think that ethical systems work. Society is BASED on the principal that your ethical and moral code is imposed upon you which is inherently unethical. Be it family, social constructs or the state itself, you follow the morality and ethics imposed upon you, to impose YOUR ethical and moral code upon your own life ends in either failure of your own unethical imposition on others. The young and the idealistic see ethics and morality as black and white concepts. History and human nature teaches that these concepts are fluid and constantly in flux and combat with opposing philosophies. Come on, it's a basic tenet of philosophy we are talking about here.

I follow my sig, may not be the smartest play but it's the most enjoyable. Been hitting the Hood heavily and it makes me miss my Warspite. Going to fo a full secondary build when Bismark campaign is over (will be burned out on Hood by then). Is IFHE an idea that payd off in secondary builds?

If I wanted a "safe" game I'd play master of orion with a 300 point cheat for a custom race. I take risks and have fun. Can't stand this safe, forgiving, sit at the back playstyle.

That schoolyard crap should be binned right here. Now, i have read youtube's fair usage policy, I suggest others do the same. I have also done a little homework and looked at precedents on that policy. In case anybody did not realise, the American (and British) legal system is built on the concept of precedent. Other companies have used this copyright strike hammer far more often and effectively than WG's threat. Had WG issued such a ban there is precedent in place for it's enforcement and WG has far more resources to have that ban tied up in court should Foch appeal, which is why I suspect he folded. There is a myth that law and justice mediate civil disputes, the fact is MONEY mediates such disputes. it is not ethical but it works, a good law firm can bankcrupt a small fish like Foch and bury his case in short order. Now, all this talk of ethics is laughable. Grow up people! Right and wrong are MEANINGLESS concepts, everyone knows that the big AAA companies are unethical, money grabbing bastards. Yet they still succeed using these business models, because ethical systems DO NOT WORK. It's why we buy into the myth of democracy not understanding that our societies are about as democratic as Stalin. Social justice keyboard warriors can ump on this all they want but it really does not matter. Whether Foch sought his CC status or was offered it is of no consequence, he accepted WG's 30 pieces of silver. When he bit the hand that fed him, WG acted to protect their brand. Neither side is right, but WG has the money and the system is built to protect the rich and so Foch did the smart thing and folded.

Tosh? Correct me if I am wrong here but as I understand it, Foch has made money from being a CC and gaining the benefits of that status. He has made money from his posts and videos he would not of made had he not been in thatt favourable position. He therefore had a certain ovligation, there is allot of WG bashing here but Goch seems to be getting the Mccann's get out of jail card here. He was happy to make money off WG but didn't like the consequences of biting the hand that fed him?

Depends on how you define high tier. Campaign seems balanced around T7. With just the Fiji and Leander I think I could do it with a week to spare maybe? But I am super casual so would probably week might shorten to 2/3 days lol. As it stands I am hoping to do full campaign in maybe 2 weeks, less if I i super grind on days off

I am doing it with Hood and Belfast. Seems ok, but I have a 16 (and counting) Belfast skipper so doing the damage and exp missions is no real hardship

If I slag off the company I work for on social media, I will get sacked. This is an accepted aspect of business these days. If you make money off of a company you need to play the party line.
