Aye, the lead ship in a class does seem to be ill-fated when you think of it. Look at the Queen Elisabeth class, everyone knows about the Warspite but the poor QE is a footnote. Rodney was involved in the killing Bismark, Nelson didn't really achieve much.

Yup Most of the stats do not mean much tbh, win rate for instance depends too much on the team.

Well they are. I've been doing regular 40-60k damage games this week. Problem is my stats where so bad that it's going to take ages for the average to go up. When the game was released all I played was Warspite and the yank Cvs, waiting for the Brits to be released. I was, quite frankly, appaling bad in warspite. I quit when i realised Brits where so low on the priority. Came back to the game about two months ago.

You made a big enough deal of it, it's quite fascinating.

Why are stats so important, why do they define things so much for you? It's an interesting pyschological point. I define my life by my performance at work, keeping my partner happy and making my daughter smile. Stats in a computer game are worthless compared to that.

One of the things that annoy me about stats are the idiots who then use them in the forums when they don't like what you say. It's like "I can't argue your point but my stats are better so my opinion means more than yours." That being said, I did check my stats today and I'm quite happy with my improvement from when I came back to the game two months ago.

Fine, if you want to play the "my stats are better therefore you have no opinion" schoolyard crap, I made my stats public. I'm not the best player, getting better at the game with experience.

Meh, can't say I care to be honest. I know some people do and I respect that, but it's not something I think about.

Gratz, a snapshot from years ago when the game came out..... When arguments fail, try the stats thing.

The thing is, they don't make much money from T2 to T7, it's an easy grind. Now T8 to T10, THAT is where they make their money. People paying for free-exp, many players even pay gold for credits. Giving people a T8 Bismark with a level 1 captain isn't such a bad thing. Look, most people on the forums are the dedicated customers who take a bit of time and interest. The VAST majority of players do not care, also they are mostly BB fans. WG made allot of money out of the Hood and then made allot of money out of people who recieved the T8, paid gold to get the upgrades and level the captain and then will pay gold to grind up to the T9 ad T10 ships in which the economy is based around the majority of players paying gold to upkeep and outfit these ships. You can call them potatoes but these players are the ones that make the money.

There are idiots in every class. I love all these BBs, my exp and damage stats have gone through the roof targeting them.

I, amongst others, quit WT because of the direction it's heading. Nothing changed, nothing will. BBs make the money, WG will not do anything to change that. They actively advertise WoWS as a game of battleships

Why? BBs make the money. For every cruiser player whining, a hundred BB players plough money into the game

Gonna have fun with Warspite

I did all the HP Bismark missions in the Belfast by burning down BBs. and those where allot more than 125k missions. A decent T6/T7 cruiser with HE can farm damage in no time at all on those big battlewagons

Faced three Fijis in a division once, infinitely more scary than Brlfasts. Anybidy that got close faced torps, anybidy who didnt got flayed alive. They held a cap sgainst 4 BBs, 2 DDs and a cruiser
