WW1 is a complicated mess but from the naval perspective, Germany never had a chance. Britain put all her resources into the navy and put all of that Navy into keeping enemies blockaded. We had 41 pre-Deadnought BBs, 35 Dreadnoughts and 16 Battlecruisers. Hell we nearly had more capital ships in the Grand Fleet alone than in the entire German navy. Not saying this to put down the Germans, it's just the focus of the British to maintain total superiority at sea due to that being our greatest advantage and most crippling weakness. Now on the ground, that is a different story and where the Germans excelled. People forget that Germany did not lose WW1 in a military sense, they where occupying large chunks of France when the Armistice was signed and had defeated the Russians.

I do not find German BBs too much of a threat. They rsrely close so the turtleback armour and secondsries are pointless. It's fun flaying down a JerryBBaby running around at max range

Casualty count is srupid. You can claim the British won the battle of Crete of you go by casaulties

By your own definition then, Jutland was a failure. The Germans failed to take the British on in smsll chunks, the ran into the combined British fleet and then where forced to retreat.

Draws and stalemates are very common in military history. The "knockout" battle, now that is rare and they get allot of screen time. Jutland was one of the best examples of a tactical draw in military terms

Dunkirk is regarded as one of the worst British defeats of the 20th century. The evacuation is a bit of a miracle that took the sting out

T7 is a funny one. Tou can go days being top toer and then get a dozen T9 games back to back

I have noticed, playing my Neptune, tge skill level in T9 games are far lower than what I find playing my Brlfast

Who cares about three BCs? The German fleet failed in it's objectives. As mentioned, clsiming Jutland as a German win is like claiming Stalingrad as a Russian defeat. Britain was able toabsorb the loss of three BCs with no trouble.

Took a Tirpitz out with my Belfast by ramming him. Out of pisition smoke down to 3 seconds and the Tirpitz had three team mates behind him. I was dead whatever I did so rammed him

Just had an idiot in a TX Jerry DD. Tears of desert map, he dives in and spams chat about camping and nobody spotting for him. The DD wants a spotter? I tell him to shut up so he turns back and tries to torp my Neptune. Moron is so useless he can't even do that properly. He dies, spams chat all game while we wipe out whole enemy team.

Thats the reason I die allot, I don't camp and tend to fight up close. Also my survival rate tanks because my BBs never survive a fight. Not that I care, would rather die at range 7km than live on the msp edge. Had a great game a few days ago in my Brlfast, over extended and did 80k damage ending in me ramming to death a tirpitz
