The thing is, there is no such thing as "best". You can create a pack of top trump cards and cherry pick individual features but there is always something on ship A that beats it on ship B. Every nation built their ships to their own needs. Britain built "work horses" that could fulfill multiple roles to protect the largest empire in history while Nazi Germany built commerce raiders aimed at hitting British merchant ships. Direct comparison is not always the best idea.

We'll have to wait and see, for the moment I'm going to enjoy the "sky is falling" threads.

I take it you missed my post preferring British DDs to BBs...... However WG has made their call so screw it, BBs it is.

It's iconic, Britain invented the Dreadnought and while other nations made bigger or better ships, the British BBs have always stood out for some reason. It's like firearms, I'm a hardcore Brit fanboy but when it comes to firearms I just love H&K, so iconic.

No business ever succeeds by catering to the minority. The fact is the majority like BBs and continue to support this game. For every exocet whining about game balance and BBs there are a hundred people playing BBs, giving money to WG and not complaining. WG won't notice an exocet quitting. Aye, they think that because they can be loud on the forum they are more important than the hundreds of players who are happy with the game.

I think Admiralty put in allot of ideas to try and maintain British parity with the US but the government post war cuts ended any chance of it.

I think 4 is a fair limit to BBs but you'll have to cap DDs aswell.

It all depends on the announcement, seems this little leak is a mistake. Also the radar thing, could see allot of development time and reworking. If I was a betting man I'd say September. 20th July would be nice as my Birthday is 19th, but could be wishful thinking

Good news for me as I have just finished the RN cruiser line. Time to shelve minotaur for the time being and farm credits/free exp/crew exp in my Belfast, Warspite and Hood
