Lets look at this. 3 BB lines 6 Cruiser lines 4 DD lines (2 are split for more options) Yet BBs are still the most popular. You can complain about BB players all you want but the simple fact is BBs are more popular and more prevalent in popular culture.

I got to that point with WoT so went to the lower tiers and just played for the hell of it.

LOL This amuses me, I NEVER play from the back, which is most of my problem. I am too aggressive. It's interesting how you put in your personal bias, clearly you have an issue with campers (so do I) and put that bias onto my bad stats.

Teamplay helps. Was in a game with my Warspite against an enemy Daipan. His fighters engaged the birds of allied cv close bu so I stramed in to help. My aa wasnt great but I shredded enough planes to help tip the balance. I sometimes wonder if my stats would be better if I was more selfish and only played for myself

Premium does mor mean protection from stupidity. Was in a game in which Saipan moron repeatedly flew his planes over two Clevelands

I run something similar on Warspite. Been noticing more carriers lately so the jount AA/secondary buff is helpful. Always fun brawling over a cap and I hate camping anyway.

I think another factor is investment. Allot of younger people, with disposable time can put allot of effort into the game (fair play to them), run in detachments, use teamspeak snd sll the assorted tools to get good stats. Then you get prople like ne, arguably the bread and butter of this game. I am 37, work 40 hours a week and spend my days off with my partner and dsyghter. Sire, I bought my way to Minotaur, I play 2-3 games a night to unwind after work so I have no reasonable expectation of grinding a high tier ship. Yet to have some elitist turn round and tell me I have no tight to sn opinion gets my goat. Cant type for crap on my phone

I only play RN so from my perspective PT, AR, SI and concealment is pretty much all you need. I like AFT and will do BT on my Minotaur for added AA fun.

Perhaps. The problem is comparing different navies with vastly different requirements and design philosophies. Take the RN, our cruisers had a very different design and role to that of the IJN, KM or RM.
