It's same with stats. Someone with a w/r of 60 but only plays the OP ships is someone I really couldn't care less about. Now the guys with a w/r of 60 and play the ordinary ships, these are the people I'll take more notice of.

Was in a game with another Mino this week, noticed he had rank one. So here's me thinking he has to be good so I'll follow him, wtach what he does and try to support him. I'll learn something and get better right? First sight of the enemy he smokes up, spends most of the game BEHIND the camping BBs out o range of the enemy......

I look at the ships played. If a person has good stats in the ships I play, those are the people I ask for advice. The obvious stat-padders in op ships are not worth bothering with.

Yeah the rewards on co-op are a problem, can't play it at T10

The thing is my friend, they DONT want you to improve. They see you as cannon fodder for their stats, they just want you on the OTHER team and not theirs. You never see much in the way of constructive posts, helpful advice, just stat-whoring and whining. Allot of the players doing the whining about player quality are as selfish as they poor guy spamming HE with his BB on the backline. They love to kill such players on the other team, have no desire in them getting better as it'll make them harder to kill.

Team play is just a myth unless you are in a division. Just had a game on Haven with two enemy DDs capping, my team in a group sailing towards cap. I had two choices: 1) slow down, smoke up and start pounding a Bismark broadside to me 2) Dive on to the cap, radar the DDs and support the team. I chose option 2 in a moment of madness, dive din, radar up, my team saw the DDs and like a flock of startled crows, turned tail and abandoned the cap. I got gangbanged by the DDs and once again decided not to be a team player because the "team" never seems to give a damn.

That is YOUR definition of fun, what you enjoy and fair play to you. Just be wary of assuming everyone else shares that definition.

ALL players want to win, that's a given. However, this is hard for the elitists to understand, most just want to have fun and this is more important to them than winning in any cases. Is it so hard a concept to understand that people do stupid things because they really don't care? They use weird skill combos, lemming train and all the other things that can be annoying because they don't care about mini-maxing their skill level, but just play for the hell of it and their own personal enjoyment. They DO NOT CARE about you or your precious win rate. It's annoying, taken a break today because of three straight losses due to lemming trains. Did 62k damage in my Belfast holding a flank while my team sat on the opposite side of the map watching. But hell, it's just a game and I have an NVQ to finish. I have crapstats because I don't care, I play my Warspite in secondary spec for the lols, going in and seeing how much damage I can do before being burned down, same with Bismark. Recently started playing my Belfast and Minotaur more "properly" and intend to take ranked seriously but i honestly don't give a damn to be honest. Just amuses me when I see all these whines about bad players when it's those same players the unicums rely on to farm their stats.

More your problem than theirs to be honest. I do think WG should have a "competitive" mode that pairs you by win/rate but the problem is allot of the guys with high stats will whine because they can not seal club "potatoes" and maintain those stats.

I'm a low stat noob but even I know to use AP in BB guns.

Take into account there are only 8 guns with a slow rof and compare that to the HE cruisers who have more guns and fire more often and it balances out. Also, who the hell fires HE in a BB anyway?

Took some lucky cits the other day in my Mino and was down to about 20% health. The RoF from adrenaline rush was just insane

I am a massive fan of atlantic fleet. I play it on weekends as WoWS on weekends makes me cry

Done for the night after three games being the only ship forward, it's the weekend. I have this cycle of really good games monday to thursday then weekends ruin any positive head way
