What do you mean by horrible map rotation? There is nothing wrong wi th the rotation, we just need more maps for more variety. That's the problem. There are so many premium ships coming, I'd love if WG could stop developing premiums for a month or two, and focus on new map creation.

Dumb nerf? Seriously? Because the ability to spot any DD by pressing one button as soon as you are spotted isn't dumb? The radar range should never exceed the detectability range, even though it can be understandable for pan-A DDs. Other radar cruisers can also be permaspotted by DDs. What is the problem? Worcester should also take a slight concealment nerf in addition imo.

of course most battle are one-sided. that's just the snowball effect. It's actually extremely rare in PvP games with large teams like in wows (12v12) to have close matches. It's absolutely normal, statistically speaking. Even though frustrating, if you're on the wrong side.

OP, last weekend I did 22 games, I won 21, lost only once. I was like, wtf is happening?? Then on Monday evening, really happy, I decided to buy the Hood. I've done 6 games with my beautiful new ship... 6 defeats... now that's not a good start for my stats in that ship my team died massively in each and every games in 6 to 10 minutes. Nothing I could do. You're not alone. The primal RNG is the teammates you're getting.

Hi guys I plan on buying one of them, but I can't decide which one. I already have german and british premiums, so the captain training is not to be taken into account, only the ships themselves. I like accurate guns (BBs standards of course), and Hood looks nice and rewards good aim, which I love. But on the other hand, fast reload of the Scharn is also appealing. Which ship is better in terms of tankiness? Which ship would you choose, and for which reason? Hood or Scharnhorst? Thank you, have a great day.

I'm actually extremely surprised nobody mentioned the Lightning. Available now if you're lucky with containers, or in a couple weeks, this is a versatile ship, awesome handling, hydro, good guns, but for OP who wants a stealth torp boat: extremely good concealment (5.5 km I think) and 8 km torps with only 106 secs to reload with no captain skills. With torps expertise + AT that can easily go below 90 secs.

I disagree. I don't have enough time to do everything myself, I can't play that much, but why would you think too many missions or events is a bad thing? It's not like you're penalized for not doing them, so why bother? Let people who have a lot of free time enjoy this rich in game content as they like it.

I also saw a player a couple of weeks ago complaining his torps didn't work, then saying enemy DD was a cheater. He was in a t5 or t6 pan-a destroyer... Sometimes people are beyond saving. I mean, reading a tool tip is obviously too difficult. They also can't ask themselves why is the torps icon different...

I had no bugs when doing that op the last time it was op of the week (about a month ago I think?) I had 5 stars several times easily. Is this a bug that appeared with last update?

I'm only at Cleveland, but wasn't Seattle considered a Cleve sidegrade, and generally perceived as a not-so-good tier 9? I perfectly understand the logic behind the radar nerf on Worcester though, but this will affect Seattle perf even more.

Sure, hydro and torps that can hit DDs are no advantage. I'm not saying Jervis is better than GM, but they certainly are close. But to say it's not even close in 1v1, well you lost your credibility.

I killed a GM 2 days ago, 1-on-1 in my Jervis, it was a close fight, we both lost about 60% of HP, until we got close enough for me to be able to use my smoke + hydro. He tried to run away, I left my smoke, and killed him. 1-0 for my Jervis. No pressure on rushing him, GM can't torp you, that's a major advantage for the Jervis

Jervis is extremely strong. Torps are situational. Play her right, play with her guns. 360 degrees on all her turrets, with good smokes. Awesome acceleration and handling to dodge, you can even bully cruisers. If you complain about Jervis you're not doing the right things with her.

I was thinking the same, but on the other hand the ship has a very exposed and vulnerable citadel, so it's hard to say with only stats.

Yep, that can be useful at those tiers. Sorry I was thinking about the Daring but you're right. However I try to not respec the captain if I can avoid it and turret traverse is not that bad so I already went for my future tier 10 build on my Jervis.

The only useful Dunkirk's special skill for RN DDs is the Jack of all trade. Actually they are better for BBs and CLs than for those DDs, imo.

CE + RPF are two 4 points skills that are way more valuable than being able to pen 27 mm. IFHE on gearing is kinda useless.

Thank you all for taking the time to answer. Based on your comments, I will choose the Hood, for its unique playstyle among the British BB line, as I already play all my german BBs as brawlers. Even though after reading you I want to buy both! Maybe later :)
