Congratulations on your restraint but some of us get pretty hacked off with these stupid runs of losses. Yay and praise be to the god of rng and yay again. 2 wins out of 9. Konig Albert, 56 shots fired, 8 hits for 6300 damage.

I was stupid enough to team kill an ally with torps last night. I was aiming at an enemy at the limit of the 7km range and 2 allies turned into somewhere I wasn't expecting them to turn.I called attention to the torps, pinged the square and warned one of the players by name. I managed all that because it was 50 seconds between dropping the torps and them hitting one of them. Only then did he decide to try to evade and turned into the 2nd torp 3 warnings about torps and where they were, not including the audio warning and visual torps warning and still I killed him. All my fault? Should I have dropped the torps? I guess not in hindsight, but having done so and given all the warning I could, there is not much you can do if folk don't pay attention. For some reason, I didn't turn pink.

How about we all just play our own game. Don't get overly excited about what WG want us to do and we just play. WG know how to [edited] apparently the nickname for Richard is a naughty word that must be kept from everyone's eyes, just in case no one has ever heard the name, or known anyone called Richard everyone over (or most folk) by giving us these wonderfully stupid missions. Just do what you, if you complete a mission then view it as a result. Don't go chasing missions just as you wouldn't go chasing a rapidly dissapearing red boat. Missions are over-rated in WG's head but very under-rated in reality.

Welcome Cluid. I can't comment on higher tiers as I tend to play 4, 5 & 6 mostly. Lower tiers are mostly fun and you should really aim to play there for a while until you understand what each type of ship does and how they play. Others will probably suggest playing cruisers until you have more experience. BB's are not easy on beginers! You made it to the forums early on which bodes well. There are many useful pages and links to videos to watch (and learn) Some folk pay to play and speed their progression, others refuse to pay a penny and still do well. It's all down to you really, free can be done but if you have some spare cash, spend it. I would suggest you don't splash out on the Belfast for a while though. Have fun

The first game where I was expecting to see my Umikaze, but found myself in a Budyony? With a noob captain, no flags, no camo. Or the 3rd one with the glitch that fubared everything and needed a pc re-start, only to find there were 2 of us left for about 5 seconds. Then it was just me against 5.

You know those nights, you log in for your first battle and play well. But you lose. So you play again and you lose. Play again and manage to do pretty much nothing and the team wins. Makes me grumpy. And you don't know how to add screenshots without them being attached thumbnails

Having just sufered another of these waste-of-time-and-electricity games, I have come up with 2 cunning plans. 1: full W to the centre, go make a cup of tea/open beer/make a G&T and don't bother with it until the game is over. 2: skip the full W bit and go make a cup of tea/open beer/make a G&T and don't bother with it until the game is over. Yup, I know that feeling. You get yourself into a sweet position and drop a spread of torps that are guaranteed to hit, only for your team to kill the target about 2 seconds before your torps would have hit.

I think a good start would be informing us how the Campaign mode works. If we select this, does it count towards any missions or events? Do we gain XP while playing it? Can we use flags, will there be the relevant bonuses for using them? Is this just a play this and anything we do stays there thing, or does it carry into everything we've played before? I have no idea. It would be nice if WG had an idea and communicated it...

True, but too many focus on killing one without seeing what's going on everywhere else

Kills are always nice, but damage to many is better.
