Ach jo... Znáš to kočičí přísloví? V první řadě nevím, co sem pleteš historické fakta. Dvěma rukama ovládáš stroj, který v reálu obsluhovalo přes tisíc lidí, s nekonečnem munice a paliva. A tobě vadí historická nepřesnost efektu sekundárních a primárních děl? Fakt? Hra potřebuje balanc a hratelnost... No a k tvé eseji o chuděrce BB: K požárům: na palubě toho bylo hodně, co mohlo hořet. Myslíš, že všechna munice byla ve skladech uvnitř lodi? Ne, bylo dost případů, kdy na palubě bouchla munice do AA zbraní a průšvih to byl slušnej. K BB vs DD: ty tady pořád opakuješ situaci úplně ideálni pro DD...a já si stojím za tím, že si fakt trouba, když se do ní dostáváš. Buď tě torpéduje uss/ru DD, a to ho pak musíš přestřílet, nebo jpn, kterej se drží mimo tvůj dohled. To znamená cca 7+km. To znamená, že musíš tak 30 vteřin neměnit kurz. V první řadě víš, že tě někdo vidí. Což skoro vždycky znamená, že po tobě jde DD. Takže už jen použitím hlavy dojdeš k závěru, že musíš měnit kurz. Běžná taktika i v reálu btw. Když neměníš, máš stále čas reagovat. Jednak můžeš použít sklil a vidět torpéda dřív. Navíc máš moduly na rychlejší reakci kormidla. A aby toho nebylo málo, máš určitou resistenci proti torpédům, takže 16k dmg od minekatze nedostaneš tak jak tak. No a aby toho nebylo málo, většinou máš spotovací letadlo. Spotuje torpéda i lodě. A to všechno jen v případě, že seš sám proti dobrému DD. Jeho jediná šance je, že neuhneš...a když to chytneš, máš heal. No a když na tebe DD vletí, tak se každý kompetentní kapitán stočí od DD a pluje pryč. Sice neutečeš, ale prodloužíš dobu kdy ho kropí sekundářky a navíc je prakticky nemožný takovou loď torpédovat. Takže mě z toho vychází, že střet kompetentního DD kapitána s kompetentním BB kapitánem rozhodně nekončí mrtvou BB. Což je smutný, když se vezme v potaz, že DD mají být největší hrozbou právě pro BB...

Not sure if you are troling or just...not sure what. You think DDs just exel in strealth? OMG, its their fundamental part! If you didnt notice, BB rely on armour, CA on not being hit and DDs on not being seen. Not only CV can deal huge dmg without real risk, you also want to counter DD, right? Spoted DD is useles DD. And thats main curent problem with balance - DDs cant work when they are spoted by every single plane... Dropsiq: Never said turret losing is not rare. But you still kinda refuse to accept simple fact - you dont risk more than others. You only have limited ammo, thats all. Other classes can sunk even without making mistake. CV can only loose some planes. If you make mistake...its my ship which will be wrecked if CV decide to. And sory, but saying "its about teamplay" is bad argument. Nope, I definately cant see your point. CV presence only force me to stay with group. So I cant do what I wanted, what I supposed to be the best. Knowing sometime planes will come from somewhere and will strike someone doesn't force you to camp less. Maybe lesering firing ranges could help, but not buffing CVs. And main problém CVs are spoting planes - they wreck DDs play. Game without CV is viable. Game without DD not. Honestly, if DD and torps were not spoted by planes, it could be fine. -

Its not risky. Or better said - yes, its risky, but same goes for other ships. They risk turret damage as well. And BB without frontal turrets are hp pinata for rest. Every ship can lose dmg dealing ability (sure, it doesn't happen ofter to loose half of turrets, but still..). And for BB there is little to do something with it, unlike CV. Your planes spot, so you can easily work with it. BBs are fired at 2+ km and there is little to do with it...just hope. And as i said, you can still completely negate DD even with single last plane...so no, cant see risk there. You can freely chose easy target for you, and there is nothing rest can do about it. I agree BBs need some serious danger - but buffing CV will put every ship in danger. DD should be main danger to BB, not CV. And still,why do you expect CV can make game less campy? By eliminating half of enemy team maybe? Solution is pretty easy. Let planes not spot ships and torps. Lower repair cost for high tiers (AFAIK T10 ship with premium acc in good win will still lose credits, if it gets sunked, so any gameplay that result in sunking is punished...that result in wicked and campy gameplay). Can be more fun for all. -

Ranked is different format. Ships were designed for randoms, not for ranked. So CVs performance in ranked is imho irelevant. First point - high/low risk: CV is not high risk class. You risk only few of your planes, the game is not over if you do mistake. You need to do few serious mistakes to only cripple your dmg dealing ability. If I do same mistake in DD, I'm gone. The same goes for CA. Even BB usually shows broadside only once...This is not high risk. And even if all your bombers and torp planes are gone, you can still spot with figters and completely negate DD class. And you can do it even if I kill you...you control your planes, so you can avoid heavy AA enviroment and strike where you need. Second point - game speed factor - its the same as arty in WoT. Yes, in theory it prevent camping...I cant see how stronger CV make game faster. How you make them push. T10 is campfest, sure. But thats imho logical resolution of high repair cost when sunked and BBs ability to engage enemy on 25 km. They have no reason to get closer when it can be done at distance. And about example with Yamato - Yamato cruising on 1/4 speed should be easy target for DDs. You dont need CV to solve this. But ofcourse, with many planes around, DD cant get closer and do his job. So again, easiest soluvion is nerf CV, not buff them. -
Není to o tom, jestli tě on vidí nebo ne. Je to o tom, jestli tě kdokoliv z jejich týmu vidí nebo ne. Protože jestli tě vidí třeba i jen letadlo, tak tě vidí všichni. A i když on tobě zmizí, ty jemu tím pádem ne. Takže vesele pokračuje ve střelbě. Druhá věc pak je, že pokud nezměníš směr, tak to mohl zkusit i naslepo. osobně to taky zkouším, prostě střílím dál tam, kde by podle odhadu měl být. Nemám co ztratit, tím spíš jestli už jsem schovanej za ostrov. Tam bude asi nějakej háček, z 8 km neumí žádný cruiser střílet aniž by byl vidět. Něco si musel přehlédnout, nějaký detail..

What a strong logic - 3 classes disigned for scissors-paper-rock gameplay need 4th class which is more or less uncounterable. It was not BB player rage - its was rage of BBS, DDs, and non US CAs, i.e vast majority of players. Plus stats. Sory dude, but its time to stop crying and start playing with balanced class. -

Oh please man - dont bring history here....you can find historical example of imho everything you want...we are in arcade game, which needs to be balanced, not in simulator. Btw, if game was historicaly correct, vast majority of every fleet was composed of DDs and other smaller ships...not like here, where third of ships are huge BBS and CVs. Situation in ranked is completely different - less ships mean more space for DDs and less chance to be spoted. They are finally able to operate in stealth without being constantly spoted by planes. Plus caping is more important in ranked. Still its damned hard to torp BB with competenet (=with brain and some experience) captain... -

Easy to me - it only shows DD are weak. Team in fact dont need any CA for hunting DD or screening torps. All in all RU DD do the same, just without being easily killed by BB. So you generaly can either play BB or DD. Its not about CV. Yes, they were intersting as they could easily destroy any ship with no risk. This is something you forgot - CV is no risk - high reward class. Which is plain stupid. So yes, they should not do the most damage. DD can do a lot of damage, but it usually operates less than 10km from target and has lowest hp pool. If something goes wrong, DD is usually screwed. CV can easily sent few torp squads to target and punish him withou risking anything... And about your argument about teamplay - in general you say that to counter CV you need few ships sticking together. 3 ships to be safe from 1 ship. Not to defeat, just to be safe from it.... -

Bad teams are problem of everybody. Everybody. Look at topics about ranked play - its full of tears. I never heard about situation, when one team was just better and thus won the game. No, its always bad team, nothing more. And maybe little of RNG. And MM. I'm kinda sad I'm somehow not playing with people from this forum - so many great players here (dragged down only by other noobs), but in game I only see 14 average players...must be my bad luck. -
Hele ono to není vůbec o tom, kde je pravda. Pravda klidně může bejt na straně vývojářů. Klidně. Jenže tady nejde o hledání pravdy, ale o to, aby se hra dobře hrála. Protože když ne, tak budem hrát něco jinýho. Najít jinou F2P hru trvá tak 20 vteřin. Osobně za těch 15 let, co mám PC, pamatuju spoustu her, který sice byly dobře udělaný, ale ze strany hráčů nepochopený - a to vždycky znamená pro hru neúspěch. Tím spíš pro F2P hru. Takže pokud si na jeden konkrétní aspekt hry stěžují hráči na všech serverech už od closed bety, tak je to minimálně ignorantství, co si říká o další krach (viz WoWp).

Zamíříš, předsadíš a doufáš. Rozhodně máš lepší šanci, než na 13 km poslat ke dnu BB torpédama. A ono k tomu příkladu - 8 torpéd z jedné salvy je blbost už jenom kvůli tomu rozptylu. Na takovou dálku trefí možná dvě, a to musí být sakra štěstí. BB se sice na pětníku neotočí, ale i tak je to oproti realitě úplnej kamzík - snížit rychlost a stočit se naplno od/do torpéd umí každá loď dost dobře nato, aby většina torpéd prošla mimo. A jestli máš problém vyhnout se torpédům s DD, tak se na mě nezlob, ale to už je trochu trolling, ne? Ono jak tu říká Erik - jediná šance DD je, že cíl nezmění kurz tak 30+ sekund a pak zareaguje pomalu. Třeba pro IJN je to vlastně vůbec jediná šance, jak něco udělat. Zato kapitán BB má tak širokou paletu možností, co s tím dělat, že mi až přijde smutný, když si někdo stěžuje na op torpéda. Dost to vypovídá o balancu hry - DD jsou sice myšlený jako counter na BB, ale stačí kompetentní kapitán BB (kterých je naštěstí ještě celkem málo), a je z toho celkem vyrovnanej boj. To je sice pravda, ale vyhnout se je většinou mnohem lehčí - už jenom proto, že to DD vidíš, takže na něj reaguješ mnohem dřív, než ty torpéda vůbec vyletí...pokud máš trochu rozum (a je to v dané situaci možné), tak se stočíš od DD a pálíš Hečka...i na krátkou vzdálenost (3km) je s úzkým rozptylem hrozně těžký trefit alespoň 2 torpéda do lodi co pluje přímo od tebe...zatímco DD po tomhle útoku končí skoro vždy pod vodou, BB inkasuje jeden dva zásahy a pluje dál...takže imho to je ten méně nebezpečnej scénář

Wow, nechat se trefit 8 torpedama na 13 km už chce pořádnou dávku hlouposti...a asi úplně nechápeš smysl HE munice, zrovna s 406mm dělama se dá DD poslat ke dnu snad jedinou salvou...

Kinda simple to me. If you push, you are being focused by enemy team. Since BBs have range about 20km, you are being hit by a lot. And another very important aspect - every halfbrained DD player will send torps at you, so you will have to dodge them which usually means showing broadside...which is suicide. I really do think that main problem is huge range of ships which allows to react on every push very easily. Like in first world war - sure you can push, but its pretty hard to not fail. -

Dont wanna make you sad, but first requests about lowering repiar cost was seen in closed beta...nothing happened till now.... WG obviously ignore simple fact - the game should be fun at first place. Doesn't matter if its lack of skill of playerbase, or WG is corect about keeping population on tier 5-7...if it is not fun for us, the easiest solution is quit the game. So far I can't see any reason to gring Tier X - I need plenty of time, plenty of credits (or real money), i will spend lot of time on lower tiers just to pay for bills...for what? For playing campfest and loosing money...no CW, no real teamplay...- 97 replies

As you said - smart player doesn't get demolished by bb that easy. In the same way, smart player doesn't get demolished by dd that easy. It is scissors-paper-rock game, and you complain about your scissors being defeated by rock. Omg...

Use brain. Please...if you face torpedoes from 4 DD, you are dead. Whats wrong on being killed by 4 (!!!) enemies? Which ship will survive this fight with 4 enemies? If this happen, you should die, doesn't matter what you have. If you can handle 4 ship in same time, something is wrong. So stop crying please. Try that owerpowered sneaky ninjas, maybe you will see how owerpowered they are in reality...

I like BB captains..they are always so objective. DD are easily countered by CA and many more things, brain included). But as you said, it is hard for them because they get in range of BB and get sunk. Thats the problem. Torpedoes can be countered by so many ways, but being hit by BB? I can only hope they miss...but sure, lets nerf them. And nerf fires. And flooding. And make guns more accurate. To OP: since when is it "wrong"? We have 3 equal clases. Why is wrong having lot of DD instead of BB (balance aside)? For me its more fun than having 10 BB per side... And I'm pretty sure every fleet had much more DD and CA and only a few BB...

No v tom sice ne, ale pak je třeba si uvědomit jak důležité věci to jsou. K vystřelení torpéd je třeba I s tou výsečí se trochu naúhlovat...a být míň jak 10km od BB. A to není dobrá situace, to si člověk říká o pár citadel. V tom je Atago taky špička, citadel má víc než dost. A když už tu citadelu chytne, tak je mu heal naprd. Neříkám že nanic, ale taky to nevyužiješ každou bitvu. Zato výhody Mogami využíváš každu salvou....každopádně díky za odpověď.

Point is that its not working as you said. Few days ago some frustrated guys posted his battle screen - with prem acc, his yamato did cca 120k dmg, over 2k xp earned, battle won, ship was sunk - and he lost credits...so only way to not lose credits is to win and not get killed (and have prem acc). its not actually about your performance. Maybe thats why T10 are such a fun...its campfest. And maybe thats why most players play t5-7. If this is working as intended...good bye wows...

1. Ofcourse you cannot. This is paper-rock-scisors game with almost 30 players in game. In CoD you can finish your oponent by single headshot without taking any dmg in return, no matter what. Rinse and repeat, and you can carry easily. You cannot disable enemy BB without taking lot lot of dmg in your BB. You cannot deal with 3 BB in your CV. But thats about game design. The game was not planned to be ruled by single pro. This is more about personal taste, I never liked CS games where one player just kiled most of team with no effort, that was not fun. So yes, I will say thats always like that in random team games. 2. This is pure logic. If you have statisticaly 50% win rate, you should not win every second game. The longer win streak you have, the bigger chance to loose next game. Pure logic, nothing more. So no ofense (to be honest - i was torped by teammates many times, and i know what does rage mean) but you either play wrong game or you just got frustrated too easily. Either way, its pure logic - the better player you are, the more "noobs" you will meet, the more subpar movemets you will see and more frustrated you will occasionaly be. If everybody plays like a expert, you'd be that noob. On a sidenote, i really do think this frustration is result of few bad developers decisions (said very gently). First, there is no real teamplay (no clans etc). Only platoons. But we dont even have platoon chat...the second - game should not punish you for bad play, it should reward you for good play instead. No matter if you win or loose, good gameplay should be rewarded much more. Everytime i see last oponent fighting like a bear, overhelmed but taking down three of our ships, i thing he deserve to be awarded more than me. But still, thats not about noobs... -

Kinda funny. In my 25k battles in WoT, 24995 was won or lost because of noob team. Or Mm. Or RNG. I can remember only 5 times when loosing team admited that winnig team was just better. No matter how well I played, how dmg I done, how clever was my movement, It looks like I won 99% just because red team was full of noobs. Point - I wonder where did your selfconfidence came from? How can you be so sure that it was only your team fault? Same goes for ranked battles topics - its full of crying. Jezus christ, I wish there is some constructive only forum.... -
Lot of people telling me Atago is way better than Mogami just made me curious - why the hell is Atago considered better ship? It seems to me more as paranoia than experience based statement. I mean - Atago has heal and slightly better range, Mogami has better dpm, turret rotation, turret setup, more guns...i dont own Mogami, so am I missing something? The only real advantage I can see is detection range of Atago, but only a few people know about it and even less people can abuse it...

Já z toho popisu několika věcem nerozumim - třeba proč jsou lepší 155 děla. Z popisu vyplývá, že jsou fajn na kratší vzdálenost, na dálku celkem naprd. Tak proč nepoužívat rovnou 203? I na dálku něco udělaj, a trefuje se s nima parádně. A další věc, která by mě zajímala - proč se probůh pořád všude říká, jak je atago lepší než mogami? Přečetl jsem si tvůj popis dvakrát, ale nenašel jsem u mogami nic, co by nebyl problém i u ataga. O kilometr větší dostřel a heal vs. víc děl, lepší rozložení děl, rychlejší nabíjení a rychlejší otáčení? Moc tomu nerozumim...

Just 3 things are beyond me (as they are imho pretty easy to solve, but nothing happened yet): include consumables into final bill (so i don't have to calculate my net income) implement platoon chat into game (this is supposed to be team game, right?) create WoT-like platoon window in port (why the hell i have to check both chat window and ready/not ready window?) Why is it not possible to use same interface as WoT? It is result of years of evolution...so u made same mistakes as in WoT 3 years ago?

Tak to určitě ne, Bismarck, Tirpitz a Hood jsou legendární lodě, o kterých slyšel každý, kdo se jen trochu zajímá o ww2. Osobně mě dost překvapuje, že Hood ještě ve hře není..
