SC is so bad that I had to free exp it. I also played Kawachi but it was my first BB and I was so excited about him that I hardly even noticed anything bad about it. Then when I went back from some higher tier IJN BBs to grinding USN BBs I almost threw up when I took SC for a first ride. No armor, no accuracy, no range, no speed, no agility, no nothing, just a big chunk of HP that goes down pretty fast and even fully upgraded it feels exactly the same. Luckily Wyoming is a relief.

Well I dont have Warspite but as I've heard it cant be citadeled through belt armor only from above (+18km range) so only torpedoes can be problem for implementing such tactics; but dont you get shot back hard (I mean really hard +20k damage) when you pop out behind an island since I doubt you can angle yourself properly for that kind of surprise tactics.Now back on topic, It is only possible to citadel Americans from extremely low ranges?

You are right, you take one side and hope for the best, but it is not maps fault, it is the bad community and the lack of communications and understanding of game mechanics. !!!Note: In WoWs lemming trains actually work and it is the way it should be played. Particularly for Tow Brothers map, if your team splits or you take one side alone and the enemy successfully forms a ,,lemming train" you pretty much lost the game.

I like the idea, flooding certainly needs to work different than just simple damage over time and also can be repaired simply by pumping out the water which implicate that it needs a separate "health bar". The idea of flooding from different sides having different effect do not sound complicated even if you add the possibility to deliberately flood yourself to even out if you calculate (or flooding health bar show you) that you are able to take even more water inside your hull. On the other hand my opinion is that fires do need to keep damage over time effect but it needs to be reduced a lot and to compensate for that lose, it could affect your accuracy, concealment and maybe even 10% lose of rate of fire.

A bit off topic. Can someone from WG reveal for how long will IJN Atago stay in premium shop or at least in tech tree?

For me it is a miles easier to hit with spotter plane since it provides you view from a much higher angle which helps you a lot to determine in which way the ship is moving.

Well I must admit that I expected usual rant thread but I also must admit that I like your ideas, I do not see torpedoes as OP as many others do but limited number of torpedo ammunition (between 30 and 50 I would suggest) could only force DD torpedo spammers to think twice before randomly lunching torpedoes in to the blue. And I especially liked the other part with smoke clouds that would stay for a whole course of a battle obstructing your vision and line of sight. +1 man!

What should i take? Torpedoes with longer range have 11 knots slower speed which is in my eyes too big trade off. Being slower for 11 knots and at the same time being allowed to shoot from even further away means it is even harder to hit targets and predict their maneuvers?

I agree, but it is very interesting to see how WG will implement those two ships in to the game/tech tree. As far as I noticed the lead ship of the class is always in the tech tree and considering the Bismark and the Tirpitz, the Bismarck is the lead ship but it is also less upgraded which leaves him more suitable for a premium. Either way I will spend my money on either of those two, whichever pops up in premium shop.

What is roughly you average damage done while sailing in a BB and what is the most damage done? Ill start 40k average, 130k most.

Since Japanese carriers fighters just suck (at least at t 4 and 5, while it would make no sense later since Japanese Zeros were best fighters of WW II)...and Americans have 2 more per squad will we get kamikazee at higher tiers?

Well I didnt know that Tirpitz was more upgraded than Bismarck but that is so logical since Tirpitz survived much longer. And about that rule that lead ship of the class is always in the tech tree could make an exception here. Bismarck for premium ASAP!!! -

It will be totally unfair if Bismarck would be premium...Tirpitz, ok...but Bismarck come on...it s like they've put Yamato as premium.... -
In a game where you simply need to capture the base, either the enemies or the one in the middle I think we have some serious game breaking issues. 1. There is too little time. 15 minutes is not enough to implement any kind of plan or strategy. If you set up a defense, after you kill most of the enemies you simply dont have enough time to chase the rest of the running destroyers or cap the base because most ships are to slow and they need 5-7 minutes from one end of a map to another. It is simply unfair to get a draw because of one or two dds that are simply just running away and you cant reliably spot them and not to speak about hitting them on large distances. Solution, add 5 more minutes for Standard and Encounter games. 2.Simple game mechanic that issues a draw after the time runs out should work as in domination mode where team with more points win. Same could be done here, team with more ships left wins. Again the same problem. It is extremely frustrating to let one/tow running ..... steals you well deserved victory, because it is not like be more efficient and dont camp...yea I should run full steam ahead in to the enemies base and do a kamikazee run. As I stated above, BBs and most CAs simply dont have enough time to defend their base and after that to arrive in cap circle and capture it or chase down remainings of the enemy fleet.

Why exactly did WG remove visible armor stat from the in game ships characteristics?

1. Domination mode is fine and I didnt even mention it in context of it being broken or bad. 2. If you run and still manage to maintain higher number of ships then it is a win for you if time runs out. It is logical that if you have number superiority that you will chase your opponent and if he tries to run away and the time runs out he lost, and on the other hand if you have a fewer ships but HP superiority then enemy won if you dont manage to kill someone in time. Draw would be only possible if same number of ships is still floating when time runs out.

What should I take for 4th modification slot? Rudder for torpedo avoidance or flooding recovery/fire extinguishing?

Is this captains perk also increase the firing range of secondary artillery of a BB, since all secondaries are under and including the 155mm guns?

It would be awesome if you could name your ship and if that name would be visible in battle. Simple feature that could work as you could buy certain inscriptions for your tanks in WoT.

I meant on a name plate on the ships stern or writing on the broadside. And of course when you target a enemy it will still say Furutaka for example but when you come really really close you could see inscription written down somewhere on that ship.

Gun Fire Control System Modification 1 vs. Secondary Battery Modification 2

It works perfectly, I took advanced firing training for my captains fourth skill and my secondaries start shooting at 4.8 km range, so I am still in two minds about switching main battery accuracy for additional 20% secondary range which will add another 0.8 km for a total of 5.6 km secondary battery range.
