I like ranked, it gives a long term goal, teamwork and pressure. i dont like the saltiness, or losing. I got to R4, with 54% win rate, but after 250 battles, I am done. Furthest I have got so far, seems like I missed out on better rewards from previous seasons.

More fantasy Soviet ships? Colour me surprised. Also I love the description "Finally Here", as if people were demanding this paper ships inclusion. Wonder what the description of actual ships people actually want will be...

Personally I feel it should not make an appearance before the following: RN, RM, MN: BB's, BC's, DD's, CA's, Pan Euro Tree, South American Dreads. Other than that, could be an interesting line, just not as interesting as other more viable nations.

So no mention of additional branches of the Royal Navy? Frustrated they mention development progression on a fictional BB branch.

In ranked I am getting get way more streaks than in random. Longest was 8 wins/9 losses. I have a 57% WR in ranked, but it seems to be Win 6 in a row, lose 9, win 8, lose 7 etc. Its really weird, anyone else getting this phenomenon?

30% may have been the figure before the new DD branch. Z-46 and Z-52 were laid down but never complete IIRC. The problem is you have multiple categories of 'Paper' ship. For the purposes of this discussion, I bunched every ship not completed into 'paper ship': German (28 ships) Russian (22 ships) Complete 18 11 Laid Down 4 1 Blueprint 4 9 WG Fiction 2 1 I think comparing the Russian tree to the German tree is a little unfair for a few points: The extensive role the German Navy played in both World Wars, in addition to having some of the most famous ships even built. Of the 10 'paper' or incomplete German ships, 4 were actually laid down, compared to just 1 of the Russians. As you can see, the Russian Tree is literally half paper (or incomplete ships). 10 Russian ships never made it off the drawing board, whereas only 6 of the Germans. With RU BB's it will be even worse with only 2/8 ships having actually existed. My point is this, its not that I have a problem with Russia, its just the quantity of ships that never floated. It is World of Warships, not World of Blueprints. I would like to play with Ships that actually existed. Hood, Iowa, Bismarck.... It's great if you are happy with paper ships, its just I am not, and I would like to voice my frustration.

I dont mind 'some' paper ships, just the quantity we have now. More specifically the quantity of Paper Soviet ships. Im well aware of the Russian Team and their bias, but I can still moan about it . But literally half of all Soviet ships are Paper/fictional. I think there is ~30 Paper/Fictional ships in the game. 11 are Soviet. - To me this is far too many. Figures may be slightly wrong, but that is still rubbish.

Wait, what? More Paper Soviet Ships? Why? At this rate a child in Russian could draw a project and it will appear in game.

I voted Yes, as the cruisers are Good and Bad.

Looking forward to Mickey Mouses Steamboat Willie..... Would rather have Disney Fantasy than Soviet Fantasy.

I kept the Black Swan too, Tier 1 is still very fun.... Great for burning off some frustrations

I am kind of with Toby on this. Whilst such a reduction from previous seasons is disappointing, (I played season 4, missed 5) I still have hundreds of flags and Camos. I was disappointed that they nerfed rewards, but I still have more free consumables than I ever have had. i.e. I jumped from Fiji (7) to Edinburgh(8) in 30 battles. If I play 10 battles, I usually end up with 50-60 flags from containers or campaigns. Maybe WG could dial down the 'great rewards', rephrase it as 'this season we are re-evaulating consumable economics, but there will be still be many prizes'. Its all about managing customer expectations, which WG are terrible at.

I have just opened my 100th Try Your Luck container. Guess how many Super Containers I have had..... 1. I am expecting some good SCs coming up! (Not complaining too much, bought £15 worth of containers for Christmas and got Atago and Marblehead.)

Warspite is ok, but she has suffered from MM changes and overall powercreep, things dont seem to change with the 16" Mutsu coming. Correct her armour model with Citadel, and lower her a little more, and I think she would jump back to middle rankings.

I dont think the wiki is too inaccurate. I agree with what you are saying about BB's, and that Fiji is great, but.... Fiji does work better as part of a team. Lone wolf in a Fiji is usually a recipe for disaster, you get into range, smoke up... and you cant see anything! You need ships to spot for you, and focused enemy fire is the worst thing for anyone. I find my games in Fiji are either amazing, or terrible. I never have an average game.

Nope.If you really want to play Subs, go grab Silent Hunter 3 4 or 5. They are all fun. SH3 is most Simmy, 4 has a balance of graphics/Simulation, 5 is pretty, but a little arcade-y. I enjoy all 3. In WOWS however Subs wont work: As an experiment, get in a low tier stealthy destroyer with Torps and tootle about at Max 7kts. When spotted pop smoke. This is SS gameplay you describe.
