Just here to rage about lack of RN/RM/MN BB's. "Business decision to include more Soviet ships" I guarantee that RN (or any of the above) BB's will outsell and increase playerbase more than 1950's RU ships. Currently there is nothing left in the game that interests me, and a poster earlier made the comment:

Royal Navy full tree especially BB/BCs. Italian Navy full tree Just please no more Russian stuff for a long while. To be honest, the way WG have prioritised releases, I dont expect Royal Navy Battleships to be with us in the next 2 years. It's so frustrating that paper ships have been given priority over ships that actually were built. I also expect Royal Sovereign to be in the RU BB tree before we get any more Royal Navy BBs

Couldnt agree more. There is so much untapped content, that I am becoming bored of waiting for. If there is such an obsession with splitting lines, try cruisers! US needs CL's, UK needs CA's! We haven't had a Russian Premium in a while, why not a RU Premium branch?

Ah the famous USSR Battleship fleet, famous for such actions as... ..... and .... What to expect? Fervent Patriotism for the motherland. In game: Tier X Sovetsky Soyuz will be the best ship in the game. However if they want to be historically accurate, she should only have 230mm of armour.

I still call BS on this, as there are plenty of inaccuracies with the ships armour layouts (Q&A from Reddit) for game play reasons, mistakes etc. And you don't need ships blue prints to create models of the ships, which is the time consuming part. All of the info is equally available, it is just an excuse that WG like trot out to explain why they are developing the Soviet Navy over others. It bugs me, as it feels like a lie. The real reason is commercial, in extending the Lifetime of WoWS. By staggering the release of the limited 'big names' (Yamato, Iowa, Bismarck, Belfast, Hood, Richelieu, Roma etc), we get peaks of interest as each ship or tree comes out. Paper ships can fill the void between big name releases, but probably couldn't sustain the game on its own. They also have an advantage of being easy and probably fun to develop, and made up. This is why it has taken 2.5 years to get the one branch of light cruisers for the Royal Navy, and Graf Spee, etc. Once they have implemented a ship, you cant re-implement it, so I expect further big names like Hood, to be much much later, so WG can extract money off those of us waiting for her whilst WG tickle interest with paper, or uncommon designs. TLDR; Whilst I don't like the fact that we are still waiting for many big names, I do understand it, but I am really disillusioned by WG's 'reasons'.

No, because it means they are developing this Paper line, rather than developing German / Brit / Italian / French / US; Destroyers / Cruisers / Heavy Cruisers / Battle Cruisers / Battleships. There is so many amazing and real ships missing from this game. Why waste time masking ahistorical ships up? I dont understand.

Agreed, but look at the German BB X. Even with designs WG like making stuff up. Also agreed, the Gun Calibre rule is awful. It could really mess up the RN BB line. 15" KGV, no thanks. This is why I dont understand the Calibre rule as WG don't care. RN magic pen all AP Cruisers!!!

Yeah, my bad. Should have put paper, or something more generic (I'm not really able to comment on the designs as I dont know them well enough, and WG could go and make their own). Your tree is very comprehensive, and I agree with placement. If you were a betting man, how would you predict WG 1st RN BB tree (trying to account for WG decision making)?

So with WG's approach to Tech Tree progression, ship design 'evolves' and gun characteristic change is minimal to enhance player experience (Gneisenau getting 15" guns). So I dont think we will see the Nelson class alongside the KGV unfortunately. This Tree is my worst case scenario, as it upgrades the 15" guns each time. It's not logical, but it is WG. T VI QE T VII Revenge or Admiral Class BC's (Nelson and Hood as Premium) T VIII 3x3 15" KGV (PoW as Premium) T IX Lion T X Made up What I hope for: Tier BB BC or Fast BB 6 QE Renown 7 Nelson Hood 8 KGV Vanguard 9 Lion G3 10 N3? Made up RN has so many variants, as there is still the Revenge BB, Courageous BC, Tiger etc etc

So here is my fun fact: There are now more Soviet Cruisers in WOWS (16+1), than the total number of cruisers the Soviet Navy had during the entirety of WW2 (14). I hope other nations will get treated this way Also, why are we getting yet another Soviet Premium, this is number 7, before anything interesting?

Krasny Krym and Leningrad... Why? Leningrad - Based on French Destroyer Leaders. Why not put the French destroyer Leader in?! If you want to copy paste a ship in, why not put a Condottieri Class in based off the Kirov?

I dont get why we need another Ru Premium now. Plenty of nations need some love. Surely this would have been better later in the games life?

Great news about RN CA appearing in Autumn, can't wait! I hope the 11" on Gneisnau will be available. Gutted about no model for HMS Hood, I was confident she would appear sooner rather than later. At least she is comfirmed, I hope I'm still playing when she's released. RN have obviously been used as a lifetime extension project for wows, which explains why they are fashionably late

Well great news about the RN by Autumn. Weird news about 15" for Gneisnau, hope she gets her historical 11" as an option. Sad news that HMS Hood hasnt been modeled. Was hoping she would be out soon.

Game HUD Disappearance. Mid Ranked battle, no mods, not Ctrl+G. Middle of a battle, and all battle GUI disappeared, no aiming reticle, no module tab, no damage indicators, no health bar, no scope effect whilst zoomed in, no mini map, score board, cap markings, no chat, no leaderboard. Literally nothing. Flame effect still worked, and markings above the 2 closest ships, friend or foe. Happened twice last night in Blyskawica. One occasion the game client crashed. Seemed to resolve with a restarting the client.

This. Oh and the lack of anything for Jutland. (A mobile app and a news article is just poor) Bad points are starting to out weigh the good of this game. The way WGEU handled Campbeltown, GNB, Jutland, the £38Jutland Commemorative flag, are a few prime examples of how nothing has changed in a year. Good things spoiled by poor comms and management with a disregard to the playerbase. I will probably run out my Premium time and take a break, coming back possibly with German BBs, certainly with the Royal Navy or RM or MM. If Russian Battleships or CVs are out before a real European line I imagine WG will have a riot. This was my most anticipated game since it was announced, and I just feel more and more disappointed with it.

So patch notes list a +20% range for secondaries, but actual PT has a +5% range. Which is correct? Warspite nerfed

Good event, marred with technical difficulties, poor communication, and a hyped up disappointing "It's a secret" end.

I agree, I think that the 10 flags is by way of an apology. Because it would be so difficult to put up a notice saying 'oops'.

Can we all just start sending (bombarding) their offices pictures of real ships? Everyday 1,000 pics of Hood through the letterbox may have some effect?
