If you mean by that "accept it and move on", then "no" I'm dealing with it, my own way. That means giving to Wargaming something to think about. We are not just some sheep who take things as they are... presuming the game is perfect. The game is not perfect, in fact it has many flaws. WoW's is better because our suggestions and complains. Some are good and useful, some maybe are not. But we have to speak our minds.

It was a low tier cruiser, pretty close to me, so no great armor involved. Also, I shot Svietlana's guns way too many times to be wrong, I know their power.
-
Cosseria, invalid argument. See the german tech, great guns range tier 6 cruiser, better AP damage, better torp range, fighter plane, etc.

As you well know, I guess, shells have different trajectories from shot to shot. In that case the upper hits should have done some damage, but what I was saying is that all HE shells did no damage, not once, but twice in row, which is weird, more weird since we talk about a russian cruiser (good speed velocity) shooting a low tier cruiser (a ship who's armor thickness leaves room for desire) . Oh yes, North ). There I had the nastiest surprises.. Talking about a fighter in Bunnyony setup - details are important. When your Artificial Intelligent AA manage to bring down a plane from a squadron of torp planes is one thing. When it brings down 2, you have better chances of surviving (less planes, less torps, right?). I underlined one aspect to Wargaming some time ago - that an AA setup controlled by AI is weak compared to a manual torp drop, and now is more weaker since the introduction of the 3rd skill (+ 5knots torps speed - 20% torps range). Combine that with the weather effects, and... There are unexperienced players who can't hit a BB, while there are many CV players who know how to make a manual drop and they are very good at it. So... AI AA versus human intelligence - that's uneven. More than that, Wargaming stated that full use of AA guns will overload the servers. That's unacceptable, in my opinion. If a ship has 45 guns and the enemy's plane got in range of 15 of them, I want to see shells flying in the air like in "The Matrix Revolutions" movie, squids attack scene ) Speaking of details - time and angle of view are important. I consider the fighter plane to be a must have, as it has what this ship needs: it defends, spots, aand... time (no one says "no" to more minutes of a plane that's spotting the enemy ). Cheers, man ;)

Hello. I recommend low tiers cruisers and DD's. Battleships are not for farming, in my opinion, unless they are premium and they are well balanced. As in WoT, farming goes well until tier 6, since high tiers have high repair costs. So... I recommend Gnevy (as gunboat), Aoba and Budyonny. Cleveland can be a pain in the arse for the enemy, but I don't like the shells velocity. You can also try Kuma, It's low profile, hard to hit, does serious damage, and also had good range torps. Phoenix has a good advantage - the range, and enough guns to make the enemy suffer. I use Svietlana, since I have a captain with the 4th skill (normally the ship has some 11,3 km gun range, with the skill gets to 13 km and some) The key is to use a proper module setup to your fight style. If you turn a lot, use the turret module. If you use your ship to defend others from CV's, get the AA module. And... as in WoT, "maneuverability is the key to victory". From tier 6 up the faster rudder module is a must. And so on... I hope this will help you. Have fun ;)

What is determining a “good player?” (he/she)
thunder3oo replied to Ferry_25's topic in General Discussion
In my opinion... a good player is the one who does the team thing, beside getting many enemies on the bottom of the sea. Keeping an eye on the map, pointing enemies to teammates engaged in battle (tunneling), responding to calls, going back when the enemy starts to capture the base, staying close to a BB or DD to give support, knowing how to keep capping enemies on fire. For example, if multiple ships are capping, I use one shell here, one there, reducing their points until I get support or get killed, but at least I slow them down (standard battles). I had many times my ships blown to pieces because people gone "lemming style". No one else was defending the flank, I chose to do it, pointing on map "enemy, enemy"... Sometimes teammates react and balance forces to flanks, sometimes they don't. The point is... sometimes you have to sacrifice your ship for the team. Speaking about kill/death ratio - is not always what it seems. People steal kills (even more now with the missions to get diamonds). Damage says something, medals and "bricks" also. But kills? Not always. Also... a good player makes a good show to watch (without premium consumables). Evading torps, going to ram when you're sure your team is winning, double kills, killing a DD (or several) with a BB... and so on ;) -
is this a bug ? or a joke ? 2 vs 8 DD's in a game..

Good point, man. MM is still unbalanced. That one you had... ugly. -
Hello. I just had a battle on North map. There was this guy in a Tirpitz, who was invisible at 9-10 km away, no smoke or islands between us, just water. Even with skills and camo, this is not possible for a battleship with 16,4 km detection range. Is there anyone who have seen this before?

Mmm... nope, replay feature not enabled at that time.

While I enjoyed the part of the game which has a purpose - by completing the missions for ARP Kongo and ARP Myoko (simple gameplay becomes boring after a while), I do not enjoy pink and high pitch voices. It seems that most of the time Wargaming is doing its job - is when is pushed from behind. I guess it's hard for WG to realize that most gamers are males, even more than that - many of them are +18. ... and I like to believe that even young, boys are boys and men are men, not sissy girls. Pink is a color for little kids or girls. More appropiate colors for male participants in this game who use ARP ships - could be blood red, royal blue, glowing blue, green or even white; all being colors that can be found abundantly in anime movies. But no, WG decided that pink should be the default color for ARP ships. Pink? W.T.F.? Really, now? So... we fought, we got the ships. Now what? I'm sure very few understand what is that high-pitched female voice saying... in japanese. Not only is an annoying kid voice, it's in japanese, too (a beautiful language... when is spoked by men, btw). Well, since WG put accent in one of its articles on hearing the sounds (torps, announcements, etc)... clearly we can't use them while they are in japanese. Most army people (in special smokers and guners) have hoarsed voices, not that... "I don't know what candy I want to eat next" voice. Speaking of army people, some anime characters (if i remember correctly) have hoarsed voices as well. Here's your inspiration, WG! Ok, WoW's is an arcade game, but... covering only a specific layer of players? Come on, Wargaming, you can do better than that. Put your people at work and hire some real men with real balls to get the voices done. How do you people say? "Action stations!"

why dose a DD's have more range than my alanta?
thunder3oo replied to jellopie's topic in General Discussion
Ishizuchi is a crap. I have too many battles with that to be wrong about it, and even if I managed to destroy several times 4 ships per battle, is still a crap. Bad example. -

Far as I see, no one took the posibility of dd's having their Advanced Firing Training activated. -
Facts about Ishizuchi. Ship tested. Test failed! Poll.
thunder3oo posted a topic in General Discussion
If you think you know all that is to know about Ishizuchi, you may be wrong. ,,Sailing in at tier IV, this battleship is often thought of as a proto-Kongo (a mean ship in its own right). The Ishizuchi is the perfect Premium ship to master the fundamentals of battleship captaining: big guns, heavy armor, and intimidation." (present description on Wargaming official page) Facts: Wargaming was lying months ago about this ship and is still lying rudely about it. Ishizuchi is NOT "a great choice" or a "perfect ship". Example: ,,the perfect Premium ship"... First lie - heavy armor. For tier IV, Ishizuchi has an extremely weak citadel (203 mm), less than any battleships on tier III-IV you can see at this moment in the game, and a pretty weak hull armor. Even tier III battleships have 305 mm citadels, like South Carolina and Kawachi. Kawachi as tier III has better armor than Ishizuchi (tier IV), both citadel and hull parts. Second lie - big guns, comparable punch. That's a shameless lie, designed to create the image of power and destruction. Power and destruction? Mmm... NO. It has 305 mm guns, which are horrible due to bad penetration, nasty accuracy and (again) horrible dispersion. Yes, this is the word that describes this ship. HORRIBLE. The penetration is so bad, that you're asking if they mistakenly put the 203 mm guns from Furutaka on Ishizuchi and called them "305mm". Along with bad armor, penetration and accuracy, comes the fact of small range, 12,9 km, one of the things that will drive a Ishizuchi owner mad, since there are ships like Myogi (6 guns, 365mm, more than 15 KM range) , Wyoming (12 guns, 305 mm, 14,1 KM range) and Phoenix (if I remember well - some 10 gunsx152 mm, 13,7 KM range that can be raised to some 16KM with one of the 4th skills of the captain), which can give a serious kick from greater distances. Wanna light the Ishizuchi on fire? NO PROBLEM. Third lie - intimidation. You cannot intimidate when you have a horrible ship. Everybody who knows "her", knows that she's the perfect target. Period. Now... what people don't know, is that Ishizuchi is getting TOO EASY on fire. I've used the ship too many times to be wrong about this. It doesn't matter if she's fast. Most of the time you'll encounter faster ships or ships that have both speed and greater range. Just imagine what's the outcome. Ship's on fire. You use the repair consumable. "Oh, no, now it's on fire again. But I just repaired it. Great, here comes a torp..." Well... that's the course of things with this ship. Beside that, there are other aspects. Anti-aircraft defense. VERY BAD, even if you have a skillful captain. The AA guns fire like the crew is drunk, sick, drugged... or something. Secondary guns have bad accuracy as well, and they have a bad range, even if you manage in the end to enable the 4th skill of range. So... defense? What defense? It's a joke. The entire ship is a joke. A bad joke. At least here (secondary guns) WG could have done something, but as far as I saw, they just take money and leave the player in possession of a ship that clearly is pretty unusable. And now comes the worst part: when players who enjoy playing low tiers enable the 4th skill of their St. Louis, Phoenix, Kuma, Tenryu (etc) and some long range guns destroyers... they have no trouble destroying Ishizuchi, spamming fire. In case of a dd that can shoot at more than 13 km away, when you sailing Ishizuchi with his 12,9 KM range, YOU DON'T EVEN SEE THE GUY WHO'S SHOOTING YOU, AND YOU CANNOT SHOOT BACK! Another thing. Like all these problems weren't enough, this is the only battleship who gets constant damages to the... rudder. Considering guns range, turret rotation speed, the deck "inclined" to catch fire, the bad armor and the bad AA guns, having a problem with the rudder is even worse. More than that, last updates seem to bring something very unpleasant. Almost full HP ships destroyed in a single salvo. That haven't happened before, and I played it many times before the updates. Imagine a battleship like Ishizuchi, 40000 and some HP... one blow (and that was angled, not a 90 degrees shot), and it's gone. Really, now. How to have fun with this ship? And Wargaming has and is doing nothing about it. Now... Some kid told me to enable the 4th skill. Where that kid failed - is that 4th skill of range works on guns up to 155 mm (in this case works just on the secondary useless guns, since the main guns have 305mm). Some accused me of asking for a "pay to win" ship. Nope. This is not the case. I just paid money to have fun. I have experience with this, and I don't have fun. Simple as that. And so on... Some people asked me why I haven't take the refund. Well, because it had a limit of 14 days, if i remember well (not nearly enough to properly test a ship), and implied some procedures that I do not agree with. More that that, I dislike very much to be lied, I dislike even more to be tricked. If someone who sells a thing (Wargaming in this case) say something about that thing, they should make sure the description FITS the product. Otherwise they must be accountable for the problem and change the product with a better one (since the buyer was lied), which in this case could be done. There's another option, one that is called "buffing". So far Wargaming has done NOTHING about it, not even when people start complaining about Ishizuchi. They did it for the ATAGO, but not for Ishizuchi, which means they don't respect their customers. So, you do something for those who paid more (Atago), but nothing for those who paid less (Ishizuchi). N.O.T.H.I.N.G. If in my first post about Ishizuchi I was using a lot of cuss words due a lot of anger, now I come with all arguments, after sailing Ishizuchi in many battles. I expect moderators to be fair, as they should always be. If you know what I am talking about, please use the poll. Let's demand the ship our money deserve. Thank you One annotation: As far as I see on their profiles, people like Phantombeast and Hellhound666 have never fought a single battle in Ishizuchi. I respectfully ask that people treat this poll in a serious manner, as we talk about WORKED money. Work, you what that is, I hope... These two negative votes don't count. -

So much for that "balance" -
I want to smoke what you have smoked, Ast3lan. Definitely. What in the hell makes you say that the german CA's are good? I'll point what I have seen until now, tiers 1 to 5: bad armor, it's getting penetrated too easily. Bad AA, couldn't shoot sh*t. Low speed for some, small fire range tiers 1-4, slow turning, reload time is not impressive. The only positive thing I've seen is the angle you can shoot torps.

I don't remember what I load at that time, AP or HE. Just started the battle, saw the guy, shoot towards him (since I got the 4th skill I can shoot from 17,78 km), and if I remember correctly, not all shells dropped on his ship. A citadel hit takes HP but does not do this. He had a detonation (I remember I got one of those round badges). But for a more than 90% HP cruiser, which is a cruiser and not some low cr*p dd, it's unusual. I fought some battles, seen a lot of stuffs and I have the nasty habit of sending salvos, imagine I damaged and destroyed many ships, cruisers included. But this? It gave me that "laugh and sorrow", thinking in the same time "pff, that bad are these ships, poor guy, he wasted time working to get xp for that ship..." ... and I expected the german tech tree with some enthusiasm, just to see that Wargaming totally messed it up. -

Not only the guns are bad, ships are bad as well. I hit an almost full Koenigsberg with my Murmansk's 152mm, and the Koenigsberg was gone. Sinked. One salvo, pretty full HP cruiser (he had more than 90% HP). He was blown up like it was some low tier destroyer. -
Once I hit an almost-almost full health Koenigsberg while I was sailing my Murmansk, boom! Koenigsberg was destroyed, like it was made of paper. What the hell, a single salvo of 152 mm can do that to a pretty full HP german cruiser?

Thank you, EaSyCoMpAnY1970. I managed to wake up some WG mad defenders in one of my posts. I'm sure as hell they don't like me or any of the things I write. If you don't know... the story goes deeply than you think. Wargaming has some guys whose dirty jobs are to discredit/ridiculize/annoy anyone who doesn't approve Wargaming tactics, way of making money, whatever. I don't know if they are paid for it in any way, or they're just blind believers whose enthusiasm is overflowing, but one thing is sure - they are real. One time I found a page of some guy who described these things very well. It was about Gaijin and the unseen war between Wargaming and Gaijin, the dirty tactics used by Wargaming through their over-enthusiastic players (or maybe even employees) to make Gaijin guys look like fools, and so on... Now you got some ideas about how the picture looks like...
