  1. So I'm not a seasoned player at all, but something with the actual CVs gameplay bugs me : if CVs are now a World of Warplane minigame, why do we have our planes locked on a rail ? Why can't we control the altitude of our squadrons, why do we have so little control over our squadrons concealment, speed(/flying capabilities), spotting range, island protection ? There must be a reason, so what is it ? If not could this be a good tweak for CVs gameplay and maybe balance ?

    Where did I talk about making them more powerful ? my only point is about having variation in CVs gameplay, as for your points : It could make a difference, if done correctly No but the higher the squadrons, the farther they can see, be seen and attacked I'm talking about altitude differences and flight capabilites, aircraft do not have the same capabilities at the same altitudes (some are high altitude specialist others are adapted to lower altitudes) See n°2, planes are stealthier and harder to hit at low altitude, but are practically blind
  4. Hi, I'm here to discuss about the never ending AA nerfs/buffs and the Fighters of CVs. Here is a suggestion : what if the AA stop to be the focus of CV balancing ? What if CVs had a real fighters squadron they could control (and maybe switch between their fighters and other squadron in flight) ?
  5. More control over planes altitude (like the subs) and make the CV gameplay more defensive (make them defend the damn air area over the team god damn instead of just watching from above)

    Yeah I know but without talking about the RTS gameplay and talking strictly about the current CVs, this role feels very wrong right now because it just cannot be really helpful for its teammates, it is a very offensive role which makes no sense, the CVs should be there to protect their mates against the enemy one (like a duel between them), and I'm convinced fighters could be reintroduced even with the current gameplay. I'm thinking about something like Rock/Paper/Scissors with two or three different type of fighters each strong and weak against precise opponents/types of planes (for example Interceptors strong against bombers, more nimble and agile fighters strong against attackers/rocket planes and a third kind of fighters countering other fighters but would do crap damages to other types.) And I did not say AA should be removed, but not the main (and only) threat for the planes.
