I stumbled upon this bit of information when i read the previous news: Alpha testers who have fought in at least 100 battles before 22:00 CET on 2 March 2015 (including Beta Weekend battles) will find a nice little something anchored in their port when the Closed Beta testing starts. The start of CBT will be announced at a later date. And i cant help to wonder - what did you seabears get? A kayak? A banana boat that you can tow behind your carriers?

Yeah ive played a few games of WoT McLeod (total Tank and ww2 geek w 32k fights under my belt) Youre ALL really helpful with your nuanced Reviews of the Preorder ships - but my lack of hands on experience really makes it like youre speaking an Alien language right now - So thanks for the comparison McLeod ^_^ (brit meds and french LT - TASTY !!!) But the difference between a Cromwell and a centurion 1 is like night and day and its honestly really frustrating not to be able to have that "fingertip feeling" (some Words just makes more sense in Swedish...) of what makes a ship special without being able to test it first - or even know the basics tbh. I wish wargaming had a "try Before you buy" function like in some other games - or include beta access with every preorder ship - because i know for a fact that there are plenty like me who cant wait to smell the salty breeze of the sea behind the keyboard ^_^. If i keep going with the WoW > WoWs analogy as that it my Comfort zone right now - destroyers and cruisers is probably my favoured type of ships, and thats just by comparing them to LTs and MTs in WoT. Id hate to get me a Sims and come in like a typical "Löwe- player" (i guess the comparison gets lost of some of you) in a high tier ship with a specific role in the fight that im SUPPOSED to know - while I in reality just started to figure out W/A/S/D... I guess i could buy all Three but just the fact that i have the Money doesnt mean that im an impulse buyer by any stretch of the imagination... Im borderline OCD when it comes to Learning facts about Everything i buy (both when it comes to tanks and real Life stuff like cars and bikes etc) and not being able to get any closer than Jingles Reviews really grinds my gears >.< Oh god sorry for the rambling wall of text guys....

So yeh i missed the beta train - didnt get accepted and was out of Town during the open weekend, and im not the only one - im not the only special snowflake that missed all the goodies that the closed beta has to offer(i may be delusional but not THAT delusional) I see all these topics now about what preorder ship to buy - and in spite of all the CBT twitch streams I watch i still dont know what type of ship thats "my" thing, so yeh its hard not to be able to try em out Before i spend Money on em (the term "pig in a poke" comes to mind but i dont know if that makes any sense in English...) But yeh...do they still send out Waves of invites or are we too Close to open beta for me to even get my hopes up? /The whiny brat
