Well lucky for you OP when we move to OBT the Kit will get taken off you and your gold will be refunded, so you haven't really lost anything and you know not to re-buy her. I have tried all the premiums except Warspite and the best are Atlanta and Simms, all the Russians are pretty bad, Yubari is OK but only in it's teir.

Warspite will not be available in OBT, after? No one knows. The three pre-order ships wont be available for at least a year after the end of CBT and depending on balance etc. might not ever re-appear, again anything can happen. The only ship that will probably remain "exclusive" will be the Alpha gift and MAYBE the Beta gift. But with WG you really can never guarantee anything as they play pretty fast and loose with words like exclusive, limited and so on.

I'm ashamed to say that a couple of weeks ago I lost my temper somewhat after a long run of very bad games and mouthed off to an opponent in chat, a day or so afterwards I got a 2 day chat ban, which actually did make playing hard and took away some enjoyment, so it did concentrate my thinking. So they are doing stuff about this, send in your ticket with the pictures and he'll get whats coming to him matey.

Can't say I've seen this myself, certainly not on the level of hate arty gets in WOT (and it's pretty stupid and ignorant people who think CV=Arty). I'm sure it'll get worse when we move into OBT, but we can't always be this cosy little band of brothers forever.

We don't know what will happen after the wipe, the question has been asked but as yet not answered. The smart money is that you will get refunded the 7200 at the wipe and the ship will disappear, this is because in previous statements they have said that anything bought for real money in the shop will not get wiped, your not buying Warspite from the shop for real money, your buying 7200 tokens from the shop.

You get the gold back. The only thing you will keep between CBT and OBT is anything you bought from the store, everything else is getting wiped. Be careful, don't spend any gold on premium ships between OBT and release, you'll loose it.

Yep, Cleveland and Pepsicola should swap as things stand but with the armour patch coming that might not be the case soon, wait and see. Atlanta is a great little ship for AA and hunting DD's but has a short range and crap protection.

You will find the Fuso is a very different beast, yes its got alot more guns but it is significantly less manoeuvrable then Kongo, which can make it hard to dodge those Torps. You will have to adjust your play style alot.

I think the problem is torp range and a lack of awareness by alot of players what they're torp range is. I see so many people lobbing torps at maximum range and beyond when they don't stand a cat in hells chance of a hit it's unbelievable. Just because your IJN Torps have a 10K range doesn't mean you should use them at 10K. And don't even get me started on Kitikarmi players. I've developed the useful habit of always going to the upgrade screen before pressing battle and checking that ships torp range before the battle.

It's a useful little ship, is it easy to play? no, is it any good? Yes. I play it to take on enemy DD's and provide AA cover if needed, can you go toe to toe with enemy cruisers? Not really but that's no what its for.

I've had this too and now play in full screen mode, I'd prefer not to however as I like to have the task bar for controlling TS.

So with the above in mind, when OBT starts it'll suck slightly cause if you spend your gold on ingame premiums like the Atlanta when the game goes to release you'll loose that and the gold, so wait until game release to buy those ships but any ships bought in the shop are safe.

Pretty sure Ectar clarified this, there will be a "soft wipe" between OBT and release, all items payed for with real money are safe. Edit: here it is If you purchase a package now and you're in CBT, (For example the Sky Sweeper package). In CBT you get the Yubari, the port slot and 3000 token/piasta At the end of CBT there is a wipe and anything you've earned in-game through normal play is reset. At this reset all progress unlocked in-game is reset, this includes any premium ships purchased with token/piasta When OBT starts you will have the Yubari, the port slot and 3000 Dubloons (as the currency has changed). Anytime there is a reset/wipe during CBT or OBT, anything you've gained by spending real life money in our premium store is not removed from you. If you never spend your Dubloons during OBT, when it comes to release your Dubloons change to "Gold" - the same currency in WoWs and WoT. Basically what you buy now using real life money, is never removed from you during any stage of closed or open beta. What you buy in-game may be reset, but you'll always end up back with whatever package you purchased from the store.

Thanks for the history lesson, I didn't need it but thanks anyway, and I don't agree with you. The whole point is that someone said that a group of cruisers would never get into a fight with a battleship and your nit picking aside this is what happened at the river plate, The 3 English ships engaged a vastly superior enemy capital ship by rushing in to close the range and split it's superior firepower.
