I'd agree, it's not the HE damage that's a problem it's fire damage, however it's no where near as bad as it used to be.

Sigh....................... Collecting is a very large part of this game and there are alot of people who do this, and what? We can't talk about it? I get payed more then minimum wage but not a massive amount more then that, I play on a old laptop and I am trying to save to buy a better one. I'm I poor? no not really but I am very careful with my money and I have no debt. I'm I wealthy? Absolutely not! Playing these games is however my primary form of entertainment, I don't drink or go to pubs, I no longer smoke and because I work shifts I don't go out much, so yes, I have some money to spend now and again on the game. I didn't go out and buy all these ships in one go. So basically mate, you knew nothing about me and thought you'd come on and try and look clever, hows that working out for you?

I'm am notoriously slow to load into battle. I play regularly with the guys on the WOWS TS and division up most nights and nearly everybody is in game before I am. It's become a running joke "Right where are we going north or south?", "I don't know I'm not in yet" (insert insults of choice about me being slow) The game is not fully optimized yet and people with older machines like mine have issues like this from time to time. Also there are still issues with game crashes happening occasionally. Then we have actual real life, you know, you click battle and there's a knock on the door? Never happened to you? Goktsu you are turning into a bit of a whine merchant, don't be that guy.

As the next patch is testing atm and will probably be released next week or the week after, none of this is even possible.

Crying, recrimination, name calling and general stat snobbery is what would happen there, it is a nice idea but unfortunately a large portion of the playerbase are not fit for human company.

Its your antialiasing settings, adjust them to suit your system specs.

Worth a mention also if your in the Area is the Royal Armouries Artillery Museum at Fort Nelson, well worth a visit. I think the Carrier is HMS Eagle btw.

I'm not sure on how exactly the team damage works here, in that how much damage needs to be done to turn pink but it seems to me that anyone who is pink must be either a troll or very, very careless. This being the case I think they should be banned full stop for a month, not just from ranked play.

Exactly, why buy trouble? This is the point I've been trying to make all along, yes you can try and challenge it by flouting it but you have a 50/50 chance at best of winning. This a pure business decision and I really can't blame WG for making it.

The MM is manipulated slightly in WG products, we know this. If you have a series of good games the MM will try and find you a more challenging game. But to claim that the MM also manipulates the RNG you get in game or that it sorts teams by player skill is pure fantasy. RNG = RANDOM number generator, not very random if what you claim is true? WG has the goal to try and keep as much of the player base as close to a 50% win rate as possible but it cannot allow for player skill or other conditions because it does not have skill based MM capabilities. This is why people with a very high win rate (in WOT, not so much this game atm, there are still many with inflated WR due to carrier spam) are good and people with a very low win rate are bad. The very high win rate players are good enough to beat the MM whatever it throws at them, they can carry games, the very low win rate players are so bad that it doesn't matter how favorable the MM is to them, they cannot take advantage of the situation because, frankly, they couldn't find their [edited]with both hands. My own opinion on the MM atm is that with the comparatively low numbers of players through CBT and into OBT a 3 tier spread was necessary but as numbers rise I would hope that serious consideration is given to lowering the spread. I would also like action to taken with regards to fail platoons, this is a anachronism from the dark days of WOT so that low tier scout tanks could be used in higher tier battles, IT IS NOT NEEDED ANYMORE. If you were to have a comprehensive pole on what players of all WG games would like to see changed then I'd put firm money on fail platoons being in the top 5. So why are WG not listening to their customers? End fail platoons, it causes toxicity, punishes players who are just trying to play the game normally and wastes peoples valuable premium time and consumables.

Sooo I've been saving hard and am ready to buy a new laptop, before we start I'll get a couple of things out the way: Yes I am fully aware that gaming laptops are not good value for money and that you can buy a great desktop for the same price, Unfortunately for reasons I won't bore you with I have to have a laptop. I have been playing WOT and WOWS on my current laptop on minimum graphics and get about 30-40FPS ish. I have around 800 pounds to spend although I might be able to go slightly higher. I'm not interested in playing anything but WOT, WOWS and two other very similar games and want to be able to get a decent frame rate and play on at least medium graphics. It is literally just to play WOT and WOWS on, nothing else. There is nothing physically wrong with my current laptop so I was going to keep it for day to day stuff and use the expensive machine for the games and nothing else.

There is a difference in the shell arc of Cleveland's HE and AP ammo, the HE fires in a higher arc. Not experienced what you've described though.
