To the OP..... Did you report any bugs? And I don't mean come on here and whine about stuff, have you actually visited the development section and posted in the OBT feedback section with a proper report and python log? Maybe you have but I'm curious as to how many times. Because that is what testing is, not just turning up and playing. I have no idea what WG's plans are for the release date and maybe there will be a freebie to encourage new players, maybe there won't but what is certain is that your not entitled to anything. People in Alpha (and I feel for them) are on their 3rd grind, people in CBT their 2nd, both have had their ships and progressed wiped so a little thank you from WG was a nice thing, although some would say that playing a great game and contributing to it becoming even better was it's own reward. Edit: Dude, you've play 300 games! Not exactly an earth staggering contribution

This. Although they are a pain future development is tied to money made and this is how WG pay the bills, I'll put up with the occasional noob if it means that I get regular content and updates. This also (as stated above) grows the playerbase and we need to do this atm.

I'm perfectly happy thank you, I've got no problem with the release and am confident that lots of good stuff is around the corner, I'm positive and upbeat about the level of development.

It's there or there about's, it is time. It's a fully working game that is making money with no more wipes, so it's not really going to make a difference to us other then hopefully it will grow the playerbase, which is needed. But IMO in order to grow that playerbase we are going to need content, content and a bit more content.

So I guess as a collector I feel slightly unrepresented here, I'm sure there are many collectors and I know that WG knows all about us But we tend to go about our little sub hobby quietly. So here is a thread for all us collectors, What have you managed to get, what are you hopping to get and what would you like to see? I've done quite well so far although mine will never be 100% complete as I don't have an Iwaki Alpha and never will have. I do have: Mikasa Albany Aurora Arkansas Beta Yubari Ishizuchi Murmansk Gremyashchy Warspite Sims Atlanta Atago Some time this week a package should arrive with the Diana enclosed too So I'm looking forward to getting a Tirpitz soon as well although my main thoughts are how to acquire a Tachibana, a T2 IJN DD that is only available atm if you buy some graphics card, which as I play on a laptop, ain't gonna happen. This could also be a good place for people thinking of buying a premium to get some advice.

I'm a collector so it's a no brainer for me, I'd buy her. I always saw her as an area denial weapon myself.

Diana can be obtained if you buy certain Asus computer products or the Italeri Bismarck model kit. Tachibana and Marblehead are also available if you buy certain ROG Asus computer products, however they are "invite codes" and can't be used on existing accounts, same with Diana (but not with the model kit, that's a "bonus code")

What was actually said about the pre order trio was that they would not be on sale for "at least a year", so it could be longer then that, it might be never.

I'd never sell my Mikasa but it is bloody awful

I have a Trollpitz and haven't had any abuse for it, if I had I'd laugh anyway.

Iwaki Alpha and Arkansas beta will NEVER be on sale. Diana, Marblehead and Tachibana are all tied into promotions atm so might become available at some point to buy or as prizes. Mikasa along with Warspite and possibly Tirpitz (it's unclear what happens with Tirpitz after the 8 day promo ends) look like they are being used as special event ships that will get sold for limited periods or used as prizes. Grem, Sims and Yubari might become available after a year is up, but how and in what format is unknown.

An Alpha tester could call themselves a veteran, a closed beta tester at a push, anybody else? Well that's a moot point. Certainly anybody with under a 1000 games couldn't be described as a "vet" unless they've been to university and they can make sick cows better................ Also I think you may well confusing "Noobs" with "Cocks", Noobs are not necessarily cocks, cocks are just cocks regardless of game experience. As it is we are alot better off then WOT where a person can literately buy a T8 tank and never having played a game in their life, jump straight in, at least here we make them play some PVE first.

Also when you pick a ship to compliment another ship, A Cleveland to provide AA for a CV for example, not much good on the other side of the map.

Agreed. I think the Map itself is OK, the spawn points are the problem. It's all very well and good some saying it's fine and that people have to have tactical sense but then point out 70% of the playerbase doesn't, not much fun if you do have tactical sense and the rest of your team don't.

Well it is a shame that you have decided to quit rather then improve your game, but nothing anybody can say to you will change your mind, even if you are very, very wrong.

He maybe be absent but lets look on the bright side, many here have had more then enough rope to hang themselves and when he returns the forum is going to be a cleaner place.
