So if that's the case it's time to roll up sleeves and get stuck in, there is work to be done, this launch is now done, history, It's time to learn from the mistakes made and move forward. Proclaiming the game is dead won't help.

The game is far from dead, however I am concerned that a huge marketing opportunity has been wasted and equally concerned that WG don't seem to see it as a problem. The game does need to grow, we need more players, and as I've said many times, I firmly believe that more content is the best way to achieve that. The fact that there was no new content at all along with a complete lack of meaningful events, offers or advertising is concerning to say the least. Many here love this game and have invested alot of effort, time and some money, we don't want a repeat of the other game and it's natural that we are concerned. I think bashing the EU team is a bit pointless, they took they're lead from head office I'm guessing and that is where the responsibility lies, it's hard to understand the apparent indifference to they're own product that must have cost a considerable amount to develop.

At least Brynd has been slightly apologetic about it, which is more then can said of Ectar who usually comes out swinging.

Naming and shaming is against the rules of this forum, I'd change the title of the thread if i were you.

Thanks for the link, but this is what we are saying, enough speculation, lets start having a few facts, lets make a bit of noise, lets generate some interest and get that important buzz going.

He's announced on facebook that Youtube are screwing with his downloads for some unknown reason so he pulled it because it looked crap.

Exactly. This is my major problem with today, this was THE oppotunity to get new players in and win some players that have left back. This game needs to grow and this "Launch" is just beyond belief. What I can't also get my head around is that apparently you don't seem to want to make any money either? There are people on this forum begging to throw money at you and all you can manage is port slots? If you'd have released a new premium ship 1000's would have bought it but nothing? Nothing at all..............................

For the first time I'm worried. I seen all the threads about "This will end like WOWP" and dismissed them, surely WG don't want another flop? That can't be good for business? But after today's non event I'm officially concerned.

Yes but as usual WG misses the point.......again. You have given the Youtubers something a bit extra and everybody else nothing, no event, no content, no nothing, just a highly questionable offer in the store. X3? That's the least we would expect anyway. This isn't about wanting freebies, this is about some of us genuinely wanting to see the game progress and the massive fail this launch appears to be.

I wouldn't say that there are only shady businesses, lots of companies move there to save on taxes. And it is still part of EU. Also from what I've heard, it is a good place to "hide" money. And its sunny

I would liked to have seen some new content, whether that would have been a tech tree line or maybe a couple of low tier premiums wouldn't have mattered. I've said elsewhere that I don't understand why they just didn't put this off for a month and do it when the released the Germans, they would have been offering something new to new players.

Don't see Warspite being on sale atm, think what ranked battles would look like if they did.

The gaming industry does not officially recognise that people can be addicted to online gaming, unfortunately for them the medical establishment have woken up to this and it is being investigated with some serious studies being undertaken.

The Russians have the Tirpitz, we have already had that, they haven't. The only thing to comment on there is that they have been given the option of buying it without the added "stuff".

My problem with all this is that it should be being used to expand the playerbase and as far as I can see nothing is being done, it doesn't even mention that its release day on the start up screen news FFS.
